Giuseppe Tornatore's CINEMA PARADISO won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film and the Grand Prix at the 1989 Cannes Film Festival. *About the venue*: Seattle Public Theater is a nonprofit that helps make live, innovative theater accessible to everyone. The building is a 100-year-old bathhouse that was converted into a playhouse in 1970. It sits directly on the walking path that circles Green Lake. Fresh popcorn, cookies, soda, beer, wine and cocktails will be available for purchase.
