5th Annual Center for Social Transformation and Leadership and Harvard Club of Seattle PreHoliday and Wine Tasting Reception Warm, welcoming, and rich with conversation—this year’s 5th Annual Pre-Holiday Reception & Wine Tasting brings together alumni and friends for an evening of connection and celebration. Hosted at the Seattle University Alumni Building and featuring wines from Knudsen Vineyards, the reception is a chance to savor great vintages, meet colleagues across sectors, and mark the season with people committed to service and leadership. The reception began as a partnership between Seattle University and Harvard alumni and has matured into an annual tradition celebrating friendship, learning, and community engagement. We’re excited to expand the gathering this year to include Stanford and IvyPlus alumni, creating an even broader network of educators, entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, scholars, and community advocates. Attendees will enjoy a curated Knudsen Vineyards tasting and light appetizers while mingling with peers. A highlight of the night is a conversation with Page Knudsen (Harvard Business School MBA ’83), owner of Knudsen Vineyards, who will share the family story behind more than 50 years of winemaking in Dundee Hills—touching on vineyard stewardship, signature wines, and the personal values that have shaped their approach. This reception is ideal for reconnecting with classmates, expanding professional and civic networks, or simply enjoying a festive evening with people who make community their work. Expect thoughtful conversation, new introductions, and an atmosphere that blends the casual warmth of a holiday gathering with the purposeful energy of changemakers.
