Description from the publisher
Federal immigration enforcement efforts can expose small business owners to many unexpected types of risks. Some businesses don’t know how they will respond to the sudden, unexpected unavailability of a key co-owner or external business partner. Some businesses may be at risk of being targeted for routine compliance failures and missing paperwork. Some businesses are uncertain about how to best navigate encounters with immigration enforcement agents in a way that best protects their customers, workers, and themselves. This presentation will cover a wide variety of these risks related to immigration enforcement and how a small business owner might prepare for these risks. This webinar is made possible thanks to funding provided by the Seattle Office of Economic Development.
