Join Seattle DSA and our coalition partners in mobilizing to City Hall for the public comment session to push back against the proposed austerity budget, which guts housing and pours tens of millions of dollars more into Seattle PD’s already criminal half a billion dollar budget! Meet in City Chambers (up the main stairs, in the right front corner) as early as 3:30 to get your name on the list to speak, or in order to yield your time to another speaker to allow them to speak for longer. The public comment session itself begins at 5 PM sharp! We’re demanding a reduction in police funding, restoring the budget for firefighters, funding an Office of People Affected by Police Violence, and taxing the rich!
