Tickets/reservations go to the performers, the minimum – $20 during live music – goes to the (cat) house. Not nearly enough to cover rent, taxes, utilities, employees, etc… this small rule is in place for when we are mistaken for a public library and not a small business in the U.S. just trying to keep the doors open.
