Description from the publisher

Magnolia Chorale’s December 2026 “Daring to Dream” concerts, led by Artistic Director Joseph To, explore the power of dreams to transport us to worlds of wonder, magic, mystery, and aspiration. From tender lullabies and soulful blues, to soaring choral works with orchestra, “Daring to Dream” blends the whimsy and magic of childhood wishes with the big dreams we aspire to as adults. A special performance by the Northwest Girlchoir celebrates the creative dreams of a new generation. The heart of the program is Dreamweaver—an English adaptation of a medieval Norwegian folk poem transformed into a luminous musical setting by Norwegian Composer Ola Gjeilo. Other highlights include Josef Rheinberger’s “Abendlied”, Andrea Ramsey’s Imaginary Creatures, Christopher Tin’s “Sogno di Volare,” Kaisho Barnhill’s “Apollo 11,” and much more. Tickets available online and at the door.
