Giving That Lasts – Creating a Legacy with PurposeSaturday, November 7, 10amJAMO Annex431 NW Flanders, Portland, OR 97209 RSVP The Japanese American Museum of Oregon and Oregon Community Foundation invite you to join us for a thoughtful conversation about Giving That Lasts, a seminar on charitable gift planning. Together, we’ll explore how individuals and families can reflect on the causes that matter most to them and ways to create a lasting impact in the communities they care about. Through stories, conversation, and a brief reflection exercise, we’ll look at how charitable giving can become part of a long-term plan — supporting organizations and community needs for generations to come. OCF’s Kim Kono, Sr. Philanthropic Advisor, and Sarah Grace McIlveen, Sr. Director of Philanthropy will share practical guidance and expert insights on charitable giving, including the range of charitable funds available to help donors make a meaningful and lasting difference. Founded in 1973, Oregon Community Foundation works to improve the lives of all Oregonians through the power of philanthropy (www.oregoncf.org). Over more than 50 years, OCF has grown from a bold vision backed by $63,000 to an organization stewarding more than $4 billion in assets and distributing over $2 billion in grants and scholarships throughout Oregon. Coffee, tea, and light refreshments will be available beginning at 10 a.m., offering time to settle in and connect with fellow guests. The Program will begin at 10:30 a.m. and conclude with Q&A. After the gathering, we invite you to explore JAMO’s new exhibit, refractiv.
