The last Saturday of every month anywhere from four to 400 people wind through Mt. Tabor Park without speaking. Claire Valla, a South Tabor resident and practicing Buddhist, started the Silent Peace Walk in January 2026. Not religious and open to anyone, the walk starts at 9 am at SE Lincoln St. and 64th Ave., rain or shine. Find it on Instagram @Pdxsilentpeacewalks2026.
