Description from the publisher
Looking for educational (and free!) activities for the kids during Fall Break? Join Hoyt Arboretum's Nature Educators to perform nature-based science experiments! Science experiments are designed for ages 5 and up to be able to perform on their own after demonstration, but all are welcome. Participants will gain hands-on experience using the scientific method to explore the inner workings of the natural world! These drop-in educational events will be held indoors at the Hoyt Arboretum Visitor Center during the week of Thanksgiving Break at PPS. No need to register, just stop by for some hands-on science! Different experiments will be featured each day, and participants are encouraged to attend multiple days. Hoyt Arboretum Visitor Center 4000 SW Fairview Blvd 503.865.8733 For more information about getting to Hoyt Arboretum and the Visitor Center amenities, see our Plan Your Visit.
