DESCRIPTION:States Day Celebrating 99 years of Community in Prosser with N
 ew and Old Traditions \nProsser’s oldest community event\, “States Day
 ” will be held on Monday\, September 7th 2026\, and offers something for
  the whole family.  Kicking off the day is the Grand Parade which starts a
 t 10:00am. With a long line of marching bands\, floats\, mounted entries\,
  junior and senior organizations and more\, the parade is usually the long
 est in Central Washington\, with more than 100 entries each year. Those in
 terested in participating as an entrant in the parade can contact the Cham
 ber office for an entry form or sign up here: https://forms.gle/L3EBDcsT6g
 eRugbt6\nAfter the parade\, family activities get underway at the city par
 k.  Stop on your way into the park to sign into your state of origin and d
 on’t forget to purchase your States Day Commemorative buttons! Then grab

  or enjoying the stage show\, which shows off the talents of local groups.

 lley\, harvesting 75% of the nation’s hops in what is one of the most im
 portant hop growing regions in the world. Every single hop cone in the Val
 ley gets harvested and processed over the span of 30 crazy days every Sept
 ember. It all culminates with Yakima’s Fresh Hop Ale Festival\, one of t
 he “Top 10 Beer Festivals in The Nation!” You’ll find 65 brewers fro
 m around the U.S. competing with fresh hop ales crafted specifically for t
 he festival using only freshly harvested hops. \nThe only fresh hop festiv
 al right in the heart of U.S. hop country\, it’s the ultimate\, one-of-a
 -kind craft beer festival just made for beer lovers! Each festival brew is
  uniquely crafted with a hop-forward character that showcases the aromas a
 nd flavors of each hop variety in a way that only happens in a fresh hop a
 le. So\, come to the source and celebrate hops and independent craft brewi
 ng right here where we grow your beer. \nThe festival isn’t just a great
  place for beer lovers\, it’s a vehicle for community enrichment and pos
 itive social change. As a non-profit organization\, the festival donates p
 roceeds as grants to fund the endeavors of Yakima County arts and science
