 red not only a deep love for photography but also a passion for working wi
 th children\, particularly through portraiture. This experience led her to
  pursue an education in early childhood\, and she is now a teacher at Elmw
 ood Day School.   \nElizabeth has been the Director of Bethany Kids CREA
 TE Summer Program for the last three years. In her teaching\, Elizabeth en
 courages young artists to work together as a community. She created the Be
 thany bees: Bee kind\, Bee creative\, Bee helpful\, Bee brave\, and Bee yo
 u! — not only to honor the bees on Bethany’s property but also to enco
 urage a safe space for kids to be themselves\, work together\, and find th
 e artist they are.  \nWhen she is not teaching\, Elizabeth can be found i
 n her studio at Bethany\, where she creates her mosaic jewelry pieces!  
  \nRuby Sgueglia (they/them)\nInstructor: ages 6-7\nRuby Sgueglia is a mul
 timedia artist and art educator currently residing in Putnam County\, Ne
 w York. They have experience in a wide variety of artistic mediums\, with
  a particular concentration on painting and drawing. Ruby has taught a lit
 tle bit of everything to people of all ages and backgrounds\, but nothing 
 is as consistently inspiring and exciting as getting to teach in environme
 nts like Bethany Kids CREATE Summer Program\, where they have been the Art
  Instructor for three years now. They believe that every child deserves th
 e chance to be creative in a place where there is no judgement\, no emphas
 is on failure or success\, guided only by exploration and expression.

 courages young artists to work together as a community. She created the Be
 thany bees: Bee kind\, Bee creative\, Bee helpful\, Bee brave\, and Bee yo
 u! — not only to honor the bees on Bethany’s property but also to enco
 urage a safe space for kids to be themselves\, work together\, and find th
