  Vessel Registry\, the first cohort of seven registry vessels will be anno
 unced\, and the 2027 application period launched in the Maritime Museum of
  BC gallery. \n\n\n\nThe Western Canada Heritage Vessel Registry (WCHVR) i
 s dedicated to recognizing and preserving historically significant vessels
  built in Western Canada. The Registry promotes high standards of preserva
 tion\, raises public awareness of maritime heritage\, and supports the sus
 tainable conservation of our floating history. A permanent\, publicly acce
 ssible record is maintained for each vessel on the Registry.
