 ie/ihr) ist Kulturarbeiterin\, Forscherin und Puppenspielerin sowie die ne
 ue Geschäftsführerin von Lakeshore Arts. Als junge Frau fand sie im Comm
 unity-Theater ein tiefes Gefühl der Zugehörigkeit und vertiefte dieses G
 efühl der Verbundenheit durch die Künste mit Abschlüssen in Performance
  (BFA)\, Theaterperformance\, Regie und Puppenspiel (MFA)\, einem Fulbrigh
 t-Stipendium und schließlich einer Promotion über traditionelle chinesis
 che Volkspuppenspieltraditionen. Parallel dazu erprobte sie dieses Verstä
 ndnis in über 20 Jahren Berufserfahrung in der Kunstvermittlung\, der Mod
 eration und der Gemeinwesenarbeit. Lakeshore Arts (https://lakeshorearts.c
 a/)\, Ihr lokales Kulturzentrum\, hat gerade ein Jahr lang seine Strategie
  und seinen Ansatz zur Zusammenarbeit mit der Gemeinde und wichtigen Partn
 ern – insbesondere den örtlichen Kirchen – neu gestaltet. Annie freut

 Church.\n\nGuest speaker bio: Annie Katsura Rollins (she/they) is a commun
 ity arts worker\, researcher\, and puppetry artist and the new Executive D
 irector at Lakeshore Arts. Finding a sense of much needed belonging in com
 munity theatre as a young person\, she pursued understanding this feeling 
 of connectedness through the arts with degrees in performance (BFA)\, thea
 tre performance\, direction\, and puppetry (MFA)\, a Fulbright Fellowship\
 , and finally a study in traditional lineages of folk puppetry in China (P
 hD). She concurrently tested this understanding through over 20 years of p
 rofessional work in art education\, facilitation\, and community building.
  At Lakeshore Arts (https://lakeshorearts.ca/)\, your local community arts
  centre\, we have just undergone a year of rebuilding our strategy and app
 roach to engaging with the community and strong community partners - local
  churches are a big part of what keeps communities connected. Annie is exc
 ited to talk to the congregation at Martin Luther Church Toronto.
