DESCRIPTION:THE 53rd IRISH HILLS TOUR traverses the varied terrain of Nor
 thwestern Ohio and Southeastern Michigan. The shorter loops are flat\, whi
 le the longer routes enter rolling hills\, passing horse farms and lakes. 
 The choice of 10\, 31 and 62 miles makes this the ideal tour for both the 
 novice and the experienced rider. Routes are marked with pavement arrows. 
 SAG service is available for emergencies or non-repairable breakdowns. \nW
 HERE: The tour begins and ends at Centennial Terrace\, 5773 Centennial Ro
 ad\, Sylvania\, Ohio. Take US 23 to Monroe Street\, Route 51 exit. Go west
  on Monroe Street and continue west to Centennial Rd. Centennial Terrace i
 s at the southwest corner of Centennial and Sylvania-Metamora Road. \nWHEN
 : Sunday September 20th.  Registration from 7:00-10:00 am at Centennial 
 Terrace. Longer distance riders should start early. Riders must complete t
 heir rides by 4 pm. \nGPS FILES & MAPS You can download GPS files and pri
 nt maps once the routes are confirmed. We will also have links to the PDF 
 maps for printing if you did not request in advance (a limited number of e
 xtra copies will be available day-of).​​​​​​​ \nFOOD: Lunch
  is included for riders on the 62 mile loop. Snack stops are provided on a
 ll routes: cookies\, in-season fruits\, trail mix\, sports drink and water
 .​​​​​​​ \nCHILDREN are encouraged to participate to the ex
 tent of their abilities. Parent or guardian must sign release form for rid
 ers under 18. Those under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. \
 nLODGING: A list of overnight accommodations will be provided upon reques
 t. \nHELMETS: All riders are required to wear an ANSI/Snell/CPSC approved
  helmet while riding. \nSAFETY: Ohio and Michigan law regards the bicycle
  as a vehicle. The same rules apply to a bicyclist or a motorist. This mea
 ns riding WITH traffic\, stopping at all stop signs and red lights and giv
 ing hand signals to indicate turns. Be courteous to motorists and move to 
 the right to permit vehicles to pass if you feel it is safe to do so. You
 r safety is YOUR responsibility. \nREGISTRATION: Pre-register online by m
 idnight Friday September 18: 10 mile – Free\, 31 mile – $20 and 62 mil
 e – $35. Day-of registration is available at a higher fee: 10 mile: Free
 \, 31 mile – $25 and 62 mile – $40. Pre-register to save money and hel
