 s Executive Director of The Dalí Museum and has led the institution since

  holds an undergraduate degree from Stanford University and master’s and
  doctoral degrees from Brown University. Prior to joining The Dalí\, Hine
  served as director of GraphicStudio at the University of South Florida an
 d founded Hine Editions/Limestone Press\, a San Francisco publishing house
  specializing in artist books and museum catalogs. A writer and educator\,
  Hine’s work centers on contemporary art and the evolving relationships 
 between text\, image and media. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDr. Jennifer C
 ohen is Director of Curatorial Affairs at The Dalí Museum. She holds a Ph
 D in Art History from the University of Chicago\, and she was formerly Cur
 ator of Provenance and Research at the Art Institute of Chicago. Her exhib
 itions and publications have focused on Surrealism and its legacies. Some 
 of her favorite projects include Salvador Dalí: The Image Disappears (20
 23) and c/o Tender Buttons (2021–22) at the Art Institute\, and Robert
  Motherwell and Multiplicity (2023) at the Bruce Museum in Greenwich\, CT
 . Her research has been supported by the Mellon–Council for European Stu
 dies\, the Smithsonian American Art Museum\, and the Dedalus Foundation. H
 er writing has appeared in The Brooklyn Rail\, the Journal of Surrealism a
 nd the Americas and numerous exhibition catalogs.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
 \n\n\nDr. Kimberly Macuare\, Director of Education and Co-Director of Inno
 vation Labs at The Dalí\, is an experienced educator\, curriculum designe
 r and facilitator. For over 20 years\, she has designed world-class learni
 ng experiences—college courses\, workshops\, leadership retreats\, team 
 building sessions\, and keynote presentations—and\, most recently\, has 
 been responsible for the award-winning curriculum of creativity and innova
 tion workshops and offerings at The Innovation Labs at The Dalí. In her r
 ole at The Dalí\, she has helped a wide range of organizations build thei
 r innovation capacities by developing creativity-focused mindsets and lear
 ning key creative problem-solving skills. In addition to supporting extern
 al clients\, she also takes an active role in innovative projects and init
 iatives across The Dalí Museum organization and teaches a creativity cour
 se in the Muma College of Business at the University of South Florida. Kim
  holds a BA in English from the University of Cincinnati\, an MA in Englis
 h from The Ohio State University and a PhD in English with a specializatio
 n in medieval literature and economics from The Ohio State University.  \
 n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDr. Kanika Tomalin is President and CEO of the 
 Foundation for a Healthy St. Petersburg where she works to create a commun
 ity in which good health helps all people thrive. With visionary expertise
 \, she guides the Foundation’s critical work to fund\, lead\, partner an
 d advocate for transformed conditions that advance equity and shape our co
 mmunity’s health.Dr. Tomalin currently serves on the boards of The Dali 
 Museum\, Academy Prep St. Petersburg\, Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital Ph
 ilanthropy Council\, Celma Mastry Ovarian Cancer Foundation\, Johns Hopkin
 s All Children’s Hospital\, and the St. Petersburg Economic Development 
 Corp. She has received numerous honors and appointments\, including being 
 named: the ACLU’s Gardner Beckett Civil Liberties honoree\; St. Petersbu
 rg Chamber’s Businesswoman of the Year\, inaugural “Iconic Woman to Wa
 tch” and Young Business Leader of the Year\; YWCA of Tampa Bay’s Woman
  of Distinction\; one of Tampa Bay Business & Wealth magazine’s Women Wh
 o Win\; and one of Florida’s Most Powerful and Influential Women. \n\n\n
 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDr. Zoe Anthony is an Assistant Professor of Philoso
 phy and Religion at the University of Tampa. Her research focuses on Nietz
 sche\, ethics\, political philosophy and the study of religion\, especiall
 y questions about suffering\, meaning\, morality and the formation of valu
 es. Her publications include “Art That Works: Nietzsche’s Figures of S
 uffering” and a forthcoming chapter on Nietzsche’s Thus Spoke Zarathu
 stra. She is currently completing a book manuscript titled Nietzsche and 
 the Generativity of Suffering. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKai Tomalin is 
 an adventurer\, folklorist and storyteller. His art blends magical realism
  with ancestral memory\, where each brushstroke echoes myth and the natura
 l world. Each piece Kai creates plants a seed of wonder and memory. His wo
 rk reminds us we are not just stewards of nature\, but co-authors of its s
 tory. He is a proud native of St. Petersburg\, graduate of the School of t
 he Arts Institute of Chicago and The American University in Washington\, D
 .C. Mr. Tomalin is deeply committed to fostering peace and resolving confl
 icts through the use of creative expression and art\, a universal thread t
 hat ties all cultures together. He combines his degrees in International S

 eries.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEnid Shomer is the author of six book
 s of poetry and three books of fiction. She also edited the popular anthol
 ogy All We Know of Pleasure: Poetic Erotica by Women. Her work has appeare
 d in The Atlantic Monthly\, The New Yorker\, Poetry\, The Paris Review\, T
 he New Criterion and others. Among her many awards are the Iowa Fiction Pr
 ize\, Poetry’s Eunice Tietjens Prize\, two NEA fellowships in poetry and
  the gold medal in fiction from the Florida Book Awards. In 2012\, she rec
 eived the Florida Lifetime Achievement Award in Writing. NPR named her nov
 el The Twelve Rooms of the Nile one of the six best books of the year. Sho
 mer’s tenth book\, Riptide: New and Selected Poems\, was published by Bl
 air in June 2026. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA Florida native\, Heather S
 ellers is the author of 12 books\, including five volumes of poetry. Her r
 ecent award-winning poetry collections are Field Notes from the Flood Zone
  (BOA Editions) and The Boys I Borrow (New Issues Press). Her new collecti
 on\, Women in Tampa Talking About Alligators\, features poems about daily 
 life in suburban Florida in all its weird glory. Sellers’ memoir You Don
 ’t Look Like Anyone I Know was an Oprah Magazine Book of the Month selec
 tion and an Editors’ Choice selection in The New York Times Book Review.
  Her short story collection Georgia Under Water won a Barnes & Noble Disco
 ver Great New Writers Award. She has also authored four books on the craft
  of writing\, including Page after Page and The Practice of Creative Writi
 ng. Her essays have appeared in Good Housekeeping\, The Sun\, Parade\, Rea
 der’s Digest\, The New York Times\, Redbook\, The Royal Society of Medic
 ine Notes and Records and Best American Essays.

 Written by Heather L. Jones and performed by Roxanne Fay\, the production 
 brings Gala’s voice vividly to life with raw emotion\, brilliance and un

 reton And The Muse: A Midnight In Paris\, was a focal point of The Dali’

 ith the 2022 Berkie Award (Berkshire Theatre Critics’ Association) for h
 er portrayal of Mary Tyrone in Bridge Street Theatre’s Long Day’s Jour

 ith Sarasota Contemporary Dance Ensemble and Phoenix Fire & Performance Ar
 t\, and works as a freelance performer and choreographer. She has performe

 uleio\, Leymis Bolaños Wilmott and Xiao-Xuan Yang Dancigers. Sami holds c
 ertifications in mat pilates\, yoga therapy\, the Functional Awareness met

 Alchemy Dance and teaches yoga\, pilates and dance to her local and online

 ez is a contemporary dancer and choreographer who resides in Tampa and has
  performed in pieces by Jennifer Nugent\, Chris Aiken\, Angie Hauser\, and
  fellow emerging artists. Previously a member of the Venus Wheeler Dance C
 ollective in Massachusetts for several years\, Victoria has a deep love fo
 r experimentation\, collaborative play\, improvisation\, and the endlessly
  engaging and winding process that is creating dance. Since receiving her 
 BA in Dance from Smith College in 2017\, movement continues to be a home f
 or Victoria– a place where she goes for freedom\, strength\, and communi
 ty. Her dance pieces often blend abstraction with elements of the everyday
  to invite audiences to make their own connections and interpretations\, e
 xperiencing a natural\, free range of emotions. Incorporating elements of 
 experimentation\, the ridiculous\, the “ugly”\, and multidisciplinary 
 collaborations\, her dance works seek to push the boundaries of what is ex
 pected in dance\, in performance\, and in society. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\
 n\n\n\n\n\n\nprojectALCHEMY \n\n\n\nMomentum: Choreographic Mentorship is

  Poetry series.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCarolina Hospital’s most r
 ecent poetry collections are All Roads Lead to Here (Anhinga Press)and Bam
 boo Ghost Notes (Contagioso Press). Other poetry collections include Key W
 est Nights and Other Aftershocks and The Child of Exile\, as well as Myt
 h America and How to Get into Trouble\, collaborations with Maureen Seaton
 \, Holly Iglesias\, and Nicole Hospital-Medina. She published the novel A
  Little Love\, under the pen name C. C. Medina and collaborated on the bes
 tselling novel Naked Came the Manatee. She also wrote the poetry used as l
 yrics to Greetings from Florida: Postcards from Paradise  by composer Sco
 tt Lee with jazz vocalist Camila Meza\, released as a CD by Sunnyside Reco
 rds. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVirgil Suárez‘s poems address the mora
 ss of the times we live in and takes the reader under the top layer we are
  meant to accept as the convenient truth. He shows us the absurd\, interpr
 ets the “double speak\,” and does it with the voice and the eye of the
  artist. His subjeot matter has a wide range: George Santos\, gentrificati
 on\, a wayward spy balloon\, a classroom lockdown. And yet he can turn our
  attention away from the chaos and the surreal as he relates the hope he h
 as for his granddaughter\, ” … who will remember the stories I whisper
  in her ears. Her poet grandfather reaching through the loam and dusk to s
 park her imagination into flourishing. ” – Misericordia Of Dust\, for 
 Corazon\, my granddaughter. The poems in this collection are not meant to 
 alarm with cries of “the sky is falling!”\, the poet knows we are way 
 beyond that point\, but to illuminate the errors of our ways before the da
 mage is beyond repair. These poems should be considered a warning to be sh
 ared and passed on to friends and strangers alike.

  and Jared Schonig\, and has appeared at major festivals such as the Jacks
