 \nHelp us care for the park by participating in a work party held on the 1
 st and 3rd Fridays of the month from 9 am-12 pm. Stewardship volunteers he
 lp maintain the trails and grounds at the Tacoma Nature Center. Tasks incl
 ude trimming vegetation\, planting\, removing non-native species and maint
 aining planting beds and gardens. Picking up litter and other miscellaneou
 s tasks also may be part of the job. \n\nNo experience is necessary but pl
 ease come dressed for the weather and getting dirty\nAll ages are welcome 
 but children need to be supervised at all times by an adult\nWork parties 
 will occur rain or shine
