 heir 11th season. After a decade of producing Tennessee Williams' work\, t
 his season\, they are excited to present "The Tennessee Effect"\, a festiv
 al focused on Tennessee's legacy through a new lens. This season\, they ar
 e highlighting the contemporary voices in the American Theatre that are sh
 aped by Tennessee's legacy. \nThe Tony Award\, Obie Award\, and Drama Desk
  Award-winning play "Appropriate" takes the spotlight as the main stage pr
 oduction. Similar to Williams’ The Glass Menagerie\, Appropriate explore
 s themes of fractured family relationships\, inheritance\, memory\, and th
 e uneasy presence of the past and its impact on the future. Appropriate ce
 lebrated a Broadway run in 2024\, winning two Tony Awards\, one for Best A
 ctress for Sarah Paulson\, and another for Best Revival of a Play. \nThe T
 WStL production will be directed by Benny Sato Ambush\, a veteran professi
 onal SDC stage director\, institutional theatre leader\, educator\, publis
