  Unemployed circus clown Louison (Dominique Pinon) applies for a job as a 
 handyman at an apartment building in post-apocalyptic France\, unaware tha
 t the ad is a ruse to lure people to the apartment where butcher-cum-landl
 ord Clapet slaughters them to feed the apartment’s hungry residents. Whe
 n Louison falls in love with the butcher’s nebbish daughter (Maire-Laure
  Dougnac)\, it takes all their wits to escape the knife. Wildly stylish an
 d devilishly clever\, Delicatessen offers pitch-black mordancy with an eff
 ervescent touch. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nArkadin does not generally pr
