DESCRIPTION:moony presents his new album William Trimtoe live in concert w
ith a full band on September 18th in St. Louis\, MO at Duck Room at Bluebe
rry Hill. \n\n\n\nWilliam Trimtoe is a 19th century Scotch-Irish folktale
turned children’s folk rhyme turned moony’s sophomore album\, a journe
y deep into consciousness and the metaphysical battle of reality that fuel
s the entropy of our fragile existence amidst all of its pain\, fear\, con
fusion\, beauty\, love\, and wonder. A no holds barred expression of the d
eepest parts of himself\, moony goes for broke and delivers his self-produ
ced masterpiece. Bold\, brash\, and at times chaotic yet surprisingly palp
able\, William Trimtoe is an hour long fever dream of alternative rock-cen
tric songs that dip their multi-genre toes into hardcore\, psychedelic\, e
 lectronic\, singer-songwriter\, indie\, and even Gaelic folk. \n\n\n\nAfte
r releasing and touring his debut album WARNING HIGH CUBE (Full Lunar Cycl
 e) from 2024-2025\, Singapore-raised now Nashville-based Seth Findley (moo
ny) established himself as a creative force to be reckoned with in the ind
ependent alternative rock scene of Nashville. His ever-growing cult-like f
anbase of self-deemed “moonies” bonds over rich visuals\, dense lore\,
singable anthems\, and captivating live shows in the “moonyverse” –
a hidden pocket of Earth where all are welcome but only the brave and cur

olded in an uncanny array of sights and sounds inscribed by a 187-year-old
  octopus.

DESCRIPTION:Only Nashville could give birth to a band like the SteelDriver
s: a group of seasoned veterans–each distinguished in his or her own rig
ht\, each valued in the town’s commercial community–who are seizing an
opportunity to follow their hearts to their souls’ reward. In doing so\
, they are braiding their bluegrass roots with new threads of their own de
 sign\, bringing together country\, soul\, blues\, and other contemporary i
nfluences to create an unapologetic hybrid that is old as the hills but fr
esh as the morning dew. This is new music with the old feeling. SteelDrive
rs fan Vince Gill describes the band’s fusion as simply “an incredible
combination.” \nSpecializing in a unique mix of what might be called bl
uegrass soul\, the SteelDrivers have become one of the biggest names in pr
ogressive bluegrass after making their debut in 2005. While there’s a st
rong traditional streak in the SteelDrivers’ sound\, they bring a passio
n to their delivery that adds a distinctive flavor\, and they’re not afr
aid of adding a forceful grit to the music. \nThe SteelDrivers have been n
ominated for five Grammys\, including one in 2025 for Best Bluegrass Album
\, the Americana Music Association’s New Artist of the Year and was IBMA
’s 2009 Emerging Artist of The Year. In 2015\, “The Muscle Shoals Reco
rdings” won the Grammy award for Best Bluegrass Recording.

ill\, are discounted to face value – without extra ticket fees. \n\n\n\n
About The Steel Wheels\n\n\n\n20 years is a long time to spend doing anyth
ing at all. It’s an age for any group of people to sustain a collective
effort. For a band on the road\, 20 years can be more than a lifetime. Yet
\, after 2 decades of making music together in living rooms\, listening ro
oms\, clubs\, theaters\, and festival stages\, The Steel Wheels are still
growing\, still pushing\, still at it\, and they’re marking the occasion
with the release of their 9th studio album\, “The Steel Wheels”. \n\n
\n\nFollowing the release of “Sideways” in 2024\, their 3rd record wit
h producer Sam Kassier at his Great North Sound Society studio in interior
Maine\, the band felt it was time for a change of scene. \n\n\n\nAs the g
roup began to select songs for a new album\, they also had to find an answ
er to the question of where they would get down to the work of record-maki
ng. They didn’t know that answer was going to knock on their back door.
\n\n\n\nAt the band’s 2024 Red Wing Roots festival\, held each summer ne
ar the group’s home base of Harrisonburg\, VA\, banjo player and songwri
ter Trent Wagler spied producer and engineer D. James Goodwin (Goose\, Bon
ny Light Horseman\, I’m With Her) in the crowd and later reached out to
learn what he was doing so far from his home turf of New York. It happened
  that Goodwin\, who mixed the band’s 2019 album “Over The Trees”\, h
ad just pulled up stakes for the Shenandoah Valley and was setting up a ne
w studio on the band’s doorstep. Several months and one video call later
 \, Wagler\, fiddler Eric Brubaker\, multi-instrumentalist Jay Lapp\, drumm
er/percussionist Kevin Garcia\, and bass player Jeremy Darrow gathered in
the new space\, The Isokon\, snug against the snowy Virginia winter\, to b
egin recording their next album. \n\n\n\nThe process that Goodwin cultivat
ed was fluid and swift. Demo listening in the morning flowed into tracking
the whole band live in one room. The session was punctuated by peals of l
aughter and occasional tears as the group kept themselves in the moment\,
leaning in to every emotion and embracing that vulnerability. As they work
ed\, the music took shape in the moment\, right in front of the microphone
s\, each participant listening and responding as the songs flickered to li
fe. By dinner time the songs of the day were complete and talk moved to th
e next day’s work. \n\n\n\nThe album that resulted from this process cap
tures the multifaceted band in full-flight\, pivoting effortlessly between
the folk rock band they’ve grown into over 20 years\, and the harmony-c
entric acoustic ensemble that they’ve been since the beginning. The band
puts their impressive range on display throughout “The Steel Wheels”\
 ; energy\, insight\, and humor\, balance with tender\, highly personal mom
ents of masterful restraint and expression as the album unfolds. As ever\,
the band challenges themselves to find new ways through the music\, using
space and\, at moments\, reinventing their approach to the string band fo
rmat. \n\n\n\nAs usual\, Wagler’s keen lyrics provide insight by posing
big questions. At first blush “Easy” sounds like the song of the summe
r\, but a deeper listen asks the audience to consider whether it’s worth
the cost to have the world waiting for us on the other side of our screen
 s. “Everything is easy\, but is it really? \n\n\n\nBeyond our glowing de
vices “Go Back” studies the complexity of our relationships and the ti
me we spend with those close to us. It’s easy to say that we must take t
he bad with the good\, it’s a challenge to seek to understand how our jo
y and sadness are entwined\; that they are not opposing feelings\, but sib
ling emotions. \n\n\n\n“Keep On Dancing” offers the listener a greater
challenge\; to take a step back from distraction and our self-imposed tas
ks\, to look beyond the static of the day\, and to see the beauty all arou
nd us. The song gently implores us to take a breath and be still so that w
e can glimpse the things that are actually important. \n\n\n\nThe Steel Wh
eels have kept their stride for longer than most bands survive. After 20 y
ears hard at work The Steel Wheels is an album of creative maturity with a
restless sense of adventure. Here’s to 20 more.

first female Pulitzer Prize winner. The production brings together the ha
untingly beautiful poetry and turbulent life of Sara Teasdale\, illuminati
ng a powerful-yet-overlooked voice from St. Louis’s cultural history. Th
rough an innovative blend of dual timelines\, multimedia projection\, and

The 4411 is an Austin\, Texas–based alternative rock band formed by life
long friends Tomas Gerlach (drums) and Cogan McBride (vocals). What began
as a shared love of music growing up quickly turned into writing songs tog
ether and releasing their first single “Candy Heart\,” landing on a Sp
otify editorial playlist and reaching new listeners. \n\n\n\nWhile living
together in college\, the duo released “As You Please” and expanded in
to a four-piece with guitarist Alan Holmquist and bassist Nick Speer. Thei
r debut EP\, We Killed the Sun\, arrived in June 2024 and launched their f
 irst tour\, ending in a sold-out headlining show. \n\n\n\nSince then\, The
4411 has toured nationally\, selling over 5\,000 headline tickets and pla
ying tons of sold-out shows across the U.S. Now in 2026 the band has relea
sed a handful of singles gearing up for their second EP and plans to be to
 uring much more.

Brown Horse make twangy and thoughtful indie rock\, delicately arranged\,
but unafraid of building a yowling wall of guitars\, accordion\, banjo and
pedal steel. Distorted\, teary-eyed and country-tinged\, this is music fo
r long lonely drives and late\, late nights in strange places. After signi
ng with legendary label Loose Music (The Felice Brothers\, Hurray for the
Riff Raff\, Courtney Marie Andrews)\, their debut album\, Reservoir\, was
released in January 2024 to wide critical acclaim. The band followed the r
elease with a multi-month international tour and a packed festival season.
\n\n\n\nBrown Horse released their second album\, ‘All The Right Weakne
sses’\, on April 4th 2025 on Loose Music. The group returned to Sickroom
Studios in Norfolk following a multi-month European tour. As a whole\,
‘All the Right Weaknesses’ touches on what being a band is all about.
The tone of ‘Reservoir’ was described as an “unvarnished sound”. B
rown Horse record quickly\, and mostly with live\, full-band takes. This c
reates moments of unpredictability and excitement that feel candid and sin
gular. The thrill of listening to ‘All the Right Weaknesses’ is about
this snapshot of a moment in time with six musicians playing together at o
 nce.

DESCRIPTION:Over the past 20+ years\, The New Pornographers have proven th
emselves one of the most excellent bands in indie rock. They have released
nine studio albums\, including their classic debut Mass Romantic and th
eir latest 2023’s Continue as a Guest. The band’s new album The Form
er Site Of was released via Merge Records on 3/27/26. \nThey’ve consta
ntly offered new sonic surprises with every album\, and have established t
hemselves alongside modern luminaries like Yo La Tengo and Superchunk when
it comes to their ability to evolve while still retaining what made them
so special in the first place. Of the 2023 record\, New York Magazine la
uded\, “The New Pornographers are a massive unit bursting with unique an
d intersecting talents…the band’s ninth album serves another helping o
 f their signature dish.”
