  aggressive state enforcement under the banner of immigration control. Und
 er the Trump Administration\, ICE has vastly increased its presence\, arre
 sts\, deportations\, and has even caused the death of American citizens. I
 n the face of what many call an authoritarian crackdown\, communities have
  come together to resist and provide aid\, protection\, and awareness arou
 nd the presence of ICE in neighborhoods across the country. The fight agai
 nst ICE is multifaceted and occurs at all different levels. Whether in the
  streets\, through advocacy\, or social organizing\, a frontline has emerg
 ed which directly challenges the actions and existence of ICE and the MAGA
  movement. \nAward-winning journalist\, broadcaster\, and author\, Sonali 
 Kolhatkar\, reports on these issues from the ground level. Her new book\, 
 Breaking ICE: Community Defense Against State Terror and MAGA Fascism\, i

 The Salmon Way\, keynote Amy Gulick will share about the remarkable fish t
 hat provide a fundamental source of food\, livelihood\, and identity\, and
  connect generations and communities. Gulick is a two-time Braided River a
 uthor\, founding Fellow of the International League of Conservation Photo
 graphers\, and a recipient of the Daniel Housberg Wilderness Image Award f
 rom the Alaska Conservation Foundation. Her stories from Alaska will be in
 terwoven with voices from Save Our Wild Salmon\, and the Columbia Snake
  River Campaign to provide local solutions on how to restore salmon runs 
 and the ecosystems they sustain.
