 by or owned by people of color. \n\n\n\nJoin us on Thursday October 1st\, 
 2026 11-2pm PST in Downtown Kent for an immersive and interactive workshop
  on common areas of law and compliance for nonprofits\, including: State a
 nd federal legal requirements\, corporate governance requirements\, fundra
 ising rules\, managing staff and volunteers\, intellectual property basics
 \, and more. Come with your general questions! All are welcome and will en
 rich the experience. This workshop is suited best for those who have a dir
 ect hand in the organizational structure and decision making power for you
 r community based organization. Due to the limited size of this workshop p
 lease register if only if you are able to attend the workshop in its entir
 ety. \n\n\n\nThis workshop is sponsored by the City of Kent and we priorit
