 ved\, family-friendly event began in 1970 as a replacement for Issaquah’
 s aging Labor Day Festival and was created to celebrate the remarkable ret
 urn of salmon to spawn in Issaquah Creek. That mission—combining educati
 on\, community\, and fun in a uniquely local way—remains at the heart of
  the festival today. \nWith nearly 600 booths\, two live entertainment sta
 ges\, two beer gardens\, and a family-friendly Field of Fun\, plus a food 
 court featuring more than 75 vendors\, Salmon Days offers something for ev
 eryone.
