DESCRIPTION:The Washington State Fair returns to the Washington State Fair
  Event Center in Puyallup\, Friday\, September 4 to Sunday\, September 27\
 , closed Tuesdays and Wednesday. The 20-day fair is billed as one of the l
 argest in the country\, combining rides\, food\, agricultural exhibits\, c
 ompetitions and live entertainment. \nAnimal exhibits run throughout the f
 air on a rotating schedule\, including 4-H and FFA dairy and beef cattle\,
  goats\, rabbits\, sheep and swine from September 16-21\; 4-H horses from 
 September 10-27\; 4-H dogs from September 16-27\; dairy cattle and beef ca
 ttle from September 10-14\, with milk sampling sponsored by Darigold\; and
  draft horses on view daily throughout the fair\, with driving demonstrati
 ons in the Pierce County Arena. Later in the run\, open poultry and sheep\
 , wool and fiber exhibits run September 23-27\, while Boer and pygmy goats
  appear September 25-27. \nEntertainment includes the Columbia Bank Concer
 t Series\, a 20-night concert run included with fair admission\, and the P
 uyallup Rodeo\, which hosts the Wild Card Round of the PRCA Cinch Playoff 
 Series September 10-13. Additional daily programming includes performances
  at the Fair Park Stage and strolling entertainers throughout the grounds\

 s listing. New for 2026\, the fair will mark America’s 250th anniversary

 eral on weekdays and $20 general on weekends\, with proportional increases
  for children and seniors. A Season Pass offering unlimited admission for 
 the fair’s full run is available for $59.50. Online orders are subject t
 o standard fees\, and all tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable

 ember to support one of its own. Queen Anne Beerhall will host a fundraisi
 ng event Wednesday\, Sept. 16\, benefiting longtime local bartender Patric
 k Anaya and his family as he undergoes cancer treatment while raising his 
 two young daughters. \nScheduled from 6 to 10 p.m.\, the Seattle fundraise
 r will feature raffles\, silent auction packages\, wine grabs\, food\, dri
 nks\, and other opportunities to contribute. All ticket proceeds and a por
 tion of the evening’s food and beverage sales will go directly to Anaya 
 and his family. \nAnaya has spent years working behind the bar and buildin
 g connections within Seattle’s hospitality community. Last year\, his wi
 fe died from cancer. Anaya is now facing cancer himself for the second tim
 e while caring for the couple’s two daughters. \nThe Sept. 16 fundraiser
  is being organized by friends\, colleagues\, and members of the community
  to provide financial assistance while Anaya undergoes treatment and is un
 able to work. \nMoney raised during the evening will help the family cover
  its mortgage\, household bills\, and other expenses. Organizers are encou
 raging Seattle residents to attend the event\, dine and drink at Queen Ann
 e Beerhall\, participate in the raffles and silent auction\, and share inf
 ormation about the fundraiser with others. \nGuests will have several ways
  to contribute throughout the four-hour event. In addition to ticket sales
 \, 20 percent of all food and beverage sales at Queen Anne Beerhall during
  the fundraiser will be donated directly to Anaya and his family. One hund
 red percent of ticket sales will also benefit the family. \nThe event’s 
 silent auction and raffle offerings bring together contributions from Seat
 tle sports\, hospitality\, and tourism businesses. \nAmong the available p
 ackages are tickets to Seattle Mariners and Seattle Storm games\, as well
