DESCRIPTION:Ballyhoo Theatre is thrilled to present our Mainstage Producti
on of CABARET! Cabaret\, the 1966 groundbreaking masterpiece with music by
John Kander and Fred Ebb and book by Joe Masteroff\, is set in the shadow
s of 1931 Berlin during the rise of the Nazi regime. Cabaret explores the
relationships between club performer Sally Bowles and American novelist Cl
iff Bradshaw\, and between gentile Fräulein Schneider\, a boarding house
proprietor\, and her tenant Herr Schultz\, a mild-mannered Jewish fruit se
ller. Overseeing the action at the Kit Kat Klub is the mysterious Master o
f Ceremonies\, presenting classic musical theatre hits as commentary throu
ghout the piece. Cabaret examines the dangers of keeping our eyes closed t
o the world around us\, and reminds us to stand up against the power of ha
tred to take away our human rights.

trongest clean energy goals\, yet the state is falling behind in building
the renewable energy and storage projects needed to meet growing electrici

here and how these projects are built are happening at the local level. \n
 \n\n\nGreenlight America (https://www.greenlightamerica.org) is a non-prof

rent clean energy landscape in Washington\, the role of local advocacy in
the clean energy transition\, and how community voices can influence decis

moment is so important and how members of Rainier Audubon Society can enga

 w | Duration: 00:30:27 | Recorded on September 8\, 2026 The Dhamma is not
merely a philosophy to study but a path to be lived and experienced. Every
step taken in accordance with the Noble Eightfold Path brings greater pea
ce\, freedom\, and genuine joy . In fact \, true joy  arises not from ext
ernal possessions or worldly success\, but from seeing the mind become lig
 hter\, kinder\, wiser\, and more liberated.\n\n\nWe will explore how joy n
aturally develops through generosity\, ethical living\, mental cultivation
\, mindfulness\, and wisdom. We will discover that the Dhamma transforms
ordinary moments into opportunities for inner growth\, replacing fear with
courage \, anger with loving kindness/ compassion\,  attachment with gen
erosity\, and delusion with wisdom. The gathering will include guided medi
tation\, Dhamma talk \, question and answer session.  This is the second
of two offerings\, and is in place of the weekly Monday Meditation and Dha
mma Offfering. \nRegistration & Donation\nRegistration is not required for
this event.  If you would like to join online\, the zoom link will be av
ailable 30 minutes before the event at the link above.  Dana is a term fo
r generosity\, or freely offered giving. You can read more and offer dana
to Seattle Insight and to the teachers here. Dana for Bhante Buddharakkhit
a can be offered here in support of Dhamma in Uganda.

beauty\, truth\, and even the divine within religious traditions other tha
