DESCRIPTION:Ballyhoo Theatre is thrilled to present our Mainstage Producti
on of CABARET! Cabaret\, the 1966 groundbreaking masterpiece with music by
John Kander and Fred Ebb and book by Joe Masteroff\, is set in the shadow
s of 1931 Berlin during the rise of the Nazi regime. Cabaret explores the
relationships between club performer Sally Bowles and American novelist Cl
iff Bradshaw\, and between gentile Fräulein Schneider\, a boarding house
proprietor\, and her tenant Herr Schultz\, a mild-mannered Jewish fruit se
ller. Overseeing the action at the Kit Kat Klub is the mysterious Master o
f Ceremonies\, presenting classic musical theatre hits as commentary throu
ghout the piece. Cabaret examines the dangers of keeping our eyes closed t
o the world around us\, and reminds us to stand up against the power of ha
tred to take away our human rights.

 																		\n \n \n \n Sounds of pickleballs hitti
ng paddles\, lively chatter\, and friendly competition could be heard acro
ss Downtown Seattle as thousands joined us for our fourth annual Picklebal
l for All on August 29 and 30\, 2026. Over 3\,000 community members joined
us near the Amazon Spheres to play pickleball\, cheer each other on\, rec
eive free 1:1 coaching\, support local vendors\, and more. This year our e
vent broke a state record\, with the official headcount revealing that Pic
kleball for All was the biggest pickleball event in Washington State!
 				\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n
There wasn’t a dull moment over the weekend. Over 900 early reg
istrants were welcomed with free pickleball paddles upon arrival courtesy
of Kaiser Permanente\, who also hosted a Relaxation Lounge for the event.
Pickleball for All is designed to be an inclusive event for all players re
gardless of ability and experience\, and with eight temporary ADA-accessib
le pickleball courts to choose from\, participants and spectators were spr
ead across 6th Avenue between Blanchard and Virginia streets for matches\,
free coaching by Bellevue Pickleball Club\, and family-friendly activitie
s like games and face painting. Guests also had the opportunity to play a
pro pickleball player from the Seattle Tsunami for a chance to win a Love
 Parks t-shirt! \n \n \n \n \
 n \n \n \n We appreciate everyone who helped coordinate o
ne of Seattle Parks Foundation’s biggest events of the year\, and specia
l thanks to all the players for spending your weekend with us! Pickleball
for All was hosted by Seattle Parks Foundation and the City of Seattle wit
h support from Seattle Metro Pickleball Association\, made possible thanks
to Presenting Sponsorship from Amazon and our Official Health Care Partne
r\, Kaiser Permanente. Scroll for more photos from the weekend! All photos

DESCRIPTION:Event Details\nDate: September 18\, 2026\nTime: 3:00 PM – 5:
 00 PM PDT\nPresented by: TF Labs & aizii.ai \nOverview\nAs consumer discov
ery and purchasing shift from manual web browsing to autonomous AI systems
\, websites must adapt to remain discoverable and transactional. Join TF L
abs and Aizii for a technical workshop covering the dual layers of Agentic
Commerce: Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Agentic Settlement Optimiz
ation (ASO). \nAnswer Engine Optimization (AEO) AEO focuses on broad infor
mational visibility\, entity authority\, and conversational recommendation
. Learn how to structure your brand’s knowledge graphs\, technical speci
fications\, and root /llms.txt manifests so AI models like ChatGPT\, Claud
e\, Gemini\, and Perplexity accurately cite and recommend your organizatio
n without hallucinations or reasoning tax overhead. \nAgentic Settlement O
ptimization (ASO) ASO provides the commerce-heavy transactional infrastruc
ture for the machine-to-machine (M2M) economy. Learn how to optimize your
 storefront’s structured JSON-LD schemas\, resolve catalog data drift\, a
nd deploy protocol rails like UCP\, ACP\, and AP2 so autonomous software b
uying agents can parse inventory\, verify real-time pricing\, and execute
touchless\, single-call checkouts on your site without triggering an Agent
ic Abort. \nKey Takeaways\n– Understanding the shift from traditional SE
O to AEO model intelligence and ASO transaction execution\n– Deploying r
oot /llms.txt manifests and vector-ready content structures for AI answer
engines\n– Eliminating semantic gaps between human-rendered visual pages
and machine-readable data layers\n– Configuring protocol handshakes and
checkout architectures to enable deterministic AI agent purchases\n– Li
ve storefront diagnostic audits demonstrating real-time Agentic Commerce R
 eadiness (ACR) scoring \nWho Should Attend\n– Founders\, Executives\, &
 Directors\n– CTOs\, Lead Engineers\, & Web Architecture Teams\n– CMOs\
 , Growth Marketers\, & E-Commerce Leaders \nHosts:\nTF Labs:\nTF Labs is a
full-service Brand Innovation and Event Management Agency working with le
ading Retailers\, Brands\, and Enterprises. TF Labs specializes in guiding
companies in innovation in Web3\, AI\, and content creation. \nAizii:\nAi
zii is the definitive optimization platform that prepares your business fo
r the machine-driven economy by automating both Answer Engine Optimization
(AEO) and Autonomous Settlement Optimization (ASO). It continuously repai
rs your site infrastructure\, so your company is natively recommended by m
ajor AI search engines and perfectly structured for autonomous agents to e
 xecute seamless\, zero-drift checkouts.

DESCRIPTION:REMINDER: What happens when you combine Oktoberfest spirit\, l
ocal restaurants\, craft drinks\, classic arcade games and a little myster
y? \nYou get Prost! The OktoberCrawl™\, the newest chapter in the Des Mo
ines Crawl Series™\, coming to the Marina District this Friday night\, S
ept. 18. \nProduced by Seattle Means Business in partnership with Friends
of Des Moines Marina Steps\, the OktoberCrawl is a progressive food-and-d
rink experience designed to get people out\, exploring local businesses an
d enjoying Des Moines one stop at a time. \nThe concept is simple: four of
ficial stops\, one secret stop\, great food and drinks\, good company and
a little adventure along the way. \n🍻 Five Stops. One Big Night.\n\nThe
evening begins at the Quarterdeck\, where crawlers will kick things off w
aterfront-style with drinks\, German-inspired bites and the first taste of
the evening.\nFrom there\, the group heads to Waterland Arcade\, trading
steins for joysticks with classic arcade games\, craft beers\, ciders and
 a healthy dose of nostalgia.\nNext comes Arturo’s Mexican Restaurant\, w
here the Oktoberfest theme takes an unexpected turn. Guests can expect Mex
ican-German-inspired bites and drinks at one of Des Moines’ local favori
tes.\nThe fourth official stop is Portovino Italian Restaurant\, offering
 a late-night Italian appetizer with a German-inspired twist—along with a
little something sweet to finish the evening.\n\nAnd then there’s… \n
 🤫 The Secret Stop\nEven after four official stops\, the night isn’t o
ver. \nA fifth location will remain secret until crawlers are ready to dis
cover it. \nBecause what’s an OktoberCrawl without a little mystery? \n
🇩🇪 An Oktoberfest Experience With a Des Moines Twist\nWhile the even
t takes its inspiration from Oktoberfest\, Prost! The OktoberCrawl™ is d
istinctly local. \nRather than centering the experience around a single ve
nue\, the crawl invites participants to move through the Marina District\,
discovering restaurants and entertainment along the way. \nIt’s part fo
od tour\, part neighborhood adventure and part social experience—with ea
ch stop offering something different. \nAnd costumes are encouraged. Leder
hosen? Dirndl? Oktoberfest hat? Go for it. \nThe goal isn’t simply to ea
t and drink. It’s to experience the businesses\, people and personality
that make Des Moines special. \n🍺 More Than a Crawl\nThe Des Moines Cra
wl Series™ was created around a simple idea: local businesses are more f
un when people experience them together. \nBy bringing people into multipl
e establishments during one evening\, the crawl creates opportunities for
guests to discover places they may not have visited before while helping k
eep dollars circulating within the local community. \n“The crawl is real
ly about discovery\,” says Bettina Carey\, producer of the Des Moines C
rawl Series™. “We want people to experience local businesses in a fun\
, unexpected way—to meet their neighbors\, try something new and see Des
Moines from a different perspective.” \nThat spirit is especially fitti
ng for the Marina District\, where waterfront restaurants\, entertainment
and neighborhood businesses come together within an easy walking experienc
 e. \n\n\n\n🎟️ Get Your Crawl On\nPROST! THE OKTOBERCRAWL™ \n\n📅
 Friday\, September 18\, 2026\n📍 Des Moines Marina District\n⏰ Starts
 at 5 p.m. at Quarterdeck\n\nTickets: \n\n$58 — First 75 guests\n$68

ar from good\, in danger of heading down the wrong road. \nInspired by the
emotional intelligence of Murderbot\, the eerie tension of Severance and
Alan Wake 2\, and the driven spirit of Andor and Daredevil\, this original
fully improvised show follows a chain reaction of resistance in a damaged
world. Each performance the ensemble creates an interconnected story wher
e one small act of hope sets off a chain reaction in the darkness. \nSet i
n a heightened reality that may include dystopian tech\, strange systems o
f control\, or absurd corporate futures\, Rebel Frequencies explores a pow
erful idea: that the very things we think are wrong with us may be the thi

DESCRIPTION:In The Goldberg Variations\, Canadian performance artist Clayt
on Lee freely references and entangles queer diasporic sexuality and aesth
etics with classical music (Johann Sebastian Bach) and professional wrestl
ing (Bill Goldberg). Using deadpan humor\, generosity\, and a low-vibratin
g mischievousness to facilitate and indulge the “what-ifs” of the live
encounter\, Clayton guides the audience through his sexual history while
conjuring and perhaps manifesting new fantasies at the exact same time. Th
e Goldberg Variations is an unhinged and reckless deep dive into power dyn
 amics\, sexual desire\, Domination/submission\, heartbreak\, vulnerability
\, tenderness\, and the tensions that exist within.

f their new album\, Cook. Cook isn’t just a nod to Lettuce’s musica
l heat\; it’s an invitation to join the band at the table\, where funk\,
  soul\, jazz\, rock\, and hip-hop come together in one rich\, flavorful di
sh. \nReleased on their own Lettuce Records label\, the band’s next stud
io album offers a menu of delights that marks a band exploring new sonic t
erritory. For these six life-long partners\, the new songs feel like a nou
rishing meal that entices all of your senses. \nLike 2019’s Elevate\, 20
20’s Resonate and 2022’s Unify\, before it\, Cook was recorded at Co
lorado Sound just outside East Coast transplants Deitch\, Smirnoff\, and B
loom’s adopted home of Denver\, where they gathered in one room to work
on the new material. Ryan Zoidis did a masterful job mixing the final resu
lts with longtime Grammy-nominated engineer Jesse O’Brien. \nOn the new
album\, Lettuce has expanded its ever-widening musical palette again. Comi
ng off tours with both rap icon GZA of Wu-Tang Clan and and reggae legend
Ziggy Marley while earlier in this year releasing the live album and conce
rt film ‘Lettuce with the Colorado Symphony’ capturing over 90 minutes
of collaborative symphonic arrangements with the Colorado Symphony \n“T
his record is a little more three-dimensional than our past albums\,” ad
ded Deitch. “It shows a lot more sides to the band\, exploring further d
epths of production and arrangements.” \nOne can hear the Wu-Tang Clan v
ibe on “Storm’s Coming\,” which could well be a lost track from (36
Chambers)\, while working with an orchestra can be traced in the epic cine
matic score of the closing “Ghost of Yest\,” which Deitch terms\, “a
cool tune that has symphonic influences.” \nThe band also recently anno
unced the launch of Lettuce Red Crush and Orange Crush wine brands with Aq
uila Cellars\, as well as a recipe book of pairings to be included with th
e vinyl album and in digital form. The wine was brought to life by Bloom a
nd Zoidis’ wine distribution company\, Benny & Zoid Selections who made
it accessible to purchase nationwide online. \n“Music and food are very
related\,” said Deitch. “Use the wrong ingredients in either and you c
an ruin the sound and the meal.” \nWith Cook\, it appears Lettuce has t
he right recipe for success… both musically and organizationally. \n“T
his is the best team we’ve ever had\,” said Deitch of his current mana
gement. “We feel like the world is our oyster. Our concepts and ideas ca
n really come to fruition now with our infrastructure. It’s beautiful to
be in a headspace of feeling this fresh. It’s the start of a brand-new
 era for us.”

DESCRIPTION:miniBOS is a Seattle-based chamber-prog quartet making bold\,
rhythmically driven instrumental music that is both meticulously crafted
and completely alive. Led by guitarist and composer Andrew Boscardin\, th
e band draws from post-rock\, new music\, art rock\, and creative improvis
ation to build songs from interlocking patterns\, layered textures\, and w
ide dynamic shifts. \nThe band features Rebekah Ko on mallet percussion\,
Mack Grout on keyboards\, and Evan Woodle on drums. \nTogether\, miniBOS c
reates music that feels vivid\, playful\, and immersive\, balancing tight
ensemble interplay with the thrill of the unknown. Fans of post-rock\, pro
gressive music\, and adventurous instrumental music may hear echoes of Kin
 g Crimson’s rhythmic precision\, Brian Eno’s collaborations with Clust
er and Harmonia\, and Yarn/Wire’s sonic experimentation. But miniBOS ult
imately sounds like itself: dynamic\, collaborative\, and always in motion

amp.com/album/the-spits-self-titled-1-lpIn an era that relies so heavily o
n quick-hit bands\, there are very few things that are truly part of the s
ubculture and not just the passing zeitgeist du jour. Closing in on three
decades\, The Spits have signified the crossroads between punk mayhem and
well-honed songwriting\, creating some of the most unhinged and anthemic t
racks in underground music while standing tall enough to be uttered in the
same breath as names like Jay Reatard\, Dead Moon\, Ty Segall and more.Th
e Spits are readying their highly anticipated VI\, due May 1 via their own
Thriftstore Records imprint. Recorded by Erik Nervous on cassette four tr
ack\, the bands new LP VI is ten hummable tracks\, shrouded in chainsaw pu
nk that mesh the wild showmanship of party-rock legends Van Halen and the
leather-clad toughness and songwriting chops of the Misfits. Marking a ret
urn to roots approach for the LP\, the band decided to record and write VI
in the basements of Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids\, Michigan over the course
of several spurts of activity\, each yielding a few new songs from a terr
ible drum kit with a literal thrift store guitar. Weve only been into an a
ctual studio like three times\, admits Sean Wood. I dont think weve had on
e record that was recorded all in one place\, this may be the closest thin
 g. And for these songs wed record a couple tracks\, step away and go back
at it later sometimes weeks later. You know\, take our time.Originally fro
m Kalamazoo\, Michigan\, brothers Sean and Erin Wood formed The Spits with
Lance Phelps in 1993 after realizing rock had gone limp\, hated partying
and just plain wasnt fun anymore. And even though they didnt even know how
to play\, the self-professed deliquents who grew up with New Orleansstyle
jazz and bluegrass got cultured and formed a band dead set on reminding t
he world how to have a good time. The Spits didnt fit in with the punks or
the garageheads when they landed in Seattle two years later\, but carved
out their own path with a series of empty open mic nights and parties unde
r a bridge in the University District. Things started snowballing a year o
r two later with a good word from Mudhoneys Steve Turner and a reputation
for livewire gigs.https://suxmusic.bandcamp.com/musicWith a musical style
that can only be described as really good\, SUX has captivated audiences w

eir commitment to energy conservation is unwavering\, always ensuring to t

riday – Sunday. This show is supported by KNKX \n\n\nTouring in support o
f their new album\, Cook.
