DESCRIPTION:Wanted: A Loving Home for a Loving Cat Who has Waited Too Long
!\nAce has never given up—not for one moment\, even as he’s spent more
than two years waiting for his special someone to come find him. Could th
at be you?\nThis nine-year-old is practically a miniature panther\, all da
rk fur and bright eyes. Ace won’t let himself be lost in the shadows\, t
hough. When people come visit\, he follows them around\, flopping at their
feet so that he can’t be ignored! He’s not just doing it for the trea
 ts\, either… (though he wouldn’t mind a few\, if you could please)...
he adores people and wants to be a close companion\, whatever it takes!\nA
n older cat with arthritis\, Ace has aches and pains that mean he needs a
home with gentle handling. His monthly arthritis injections and daily pill
s have helped tremendously\, but he has some spots that hurt to touch. Tha
t won’t stop him from wanting to be your loving shadow\, though! He just
needs a home with a cat-savvy family\, where he can trust your calm\, kin
d touches.\nAre you the one that Ace has been waiting so long for? Come me
 et him and find out!

DESCRIPTION:On Sept 20 it’s good pizza\, good people\, a little friendly
competition\, and a chance to be part of something positive happening rig
ht here in our community.\nFour local pizza makers have elected to be part
of something delicious—and something bigger than pizza—a community ni
ght for people to gather over free pizza and connect with one another to b
egin creating a community “Wishing Wall” filled with dreams\, hopes\,
and possibilities.\nMarzano’s\, Mama Mia’s\, Porchlight and Salmonberr
y are donating 2 large pizzas each so free pizza can be offered to a room
full of hungry community members who join together to put their dreams for
our community on a weather proof tag. The tags will then be put on the ch
ain link fence at the blinking light in Nehalem\, owned by Rocinante LLC.\
nTo add a little spicy competition\, attendees will be voting for their fa
vorite pizza! At the end of the night\, one restaurant will take home the
highly coveted “Best Pie in the North Coast Community” trophy—and\,
more importantly\, every participating pizza maker will be recognized as a
local business helping bring this community vision and dreaming to life.\
nPizza ‘N Progress is part of a new program of local nonprofit Fulcrum C
ommunity Resources called People\, Place & Possibility. It’s a community
project designed to bring neighbors together to imagine\, dream\, and sha
re their hopes for the future of our community.\nOther component are: the
“You May Say I’m a Dreamer” Art Show coming to NCRD in Nehalem in Oc

ics\, and a Community Gathering in spring of 2027 where we take the tags o
