DESCRIPTION:PixieOgre (Psychedelic Dream Pop from Eugene\, OR) LIVE @ The
 Lyons Den\nSat 9/5 – 8 10pm\, $5 cover\, 21+ \nEugene\, OR indie trio\,
PixieOgre\, is bringing their “psychedelic dream pop” experience to Th
e Lyons Den in Seaside. Featuring multi-instrumentalists Satya Stewart\, A
lyssa Baz and Skot Boyes\, PixieOgre wanders freely between haunting\, slo
 w-burning psychedelia and upbeat\, groove-driven rock – blending whimsic
al melodies\, unexpected arrangements and a healthy dose of musical mischi
ef. Imagine a curious collision of Primus and Of Monsters and Men\, filter
ed through a fantastical dreamscape. \nPixieOgre isn’t interested in col
oring inside the lines. Instead\, they focus on creating an epic experienc
e that is playful\, mysterious\, occasionally dark and always a little unp
redictable. Their music draws listeners into a world of sonic textures\, p
sychedelic moods and imaginative storytelling – ranging from tender love
songs to murder ballads. Performing throughout the Pacific Northwest\, Pi
xieOgre brings a distinctive blend of musicianship\, humor and fantasy to
the stage that beckons anyone willing to journey a little outside the ordi
 nary.
