 telling and community-building series hosted by Housing Matters. Each gath
 ering will explore the themes of belonging\, connection\, and the shared r
 esponsibility we all hold in shaping a resilient Santa Cruz County.\nEvery
  session will open with a featured storyteller sharing their lived experie
 nce of belonging\, what it has meant to be seen\, supported\, and included
 \, and how those moments have shaped their sense of place within the commu
 nity. Through storytelling\, we will be invited to explore our own experie
 nce of belonging.\n\nFollowing the story\, a local community partner will 
 join us for a panel conversation exploring what community building looks l
 ike in practice. Together\, we’ll discuss what it takes to cultivate inc
 lusive spaces\, the lessons they’ve learned in their work\, and how belo
 nging shows up in real and tangible ways across our County.\n\nWe will clo
 se each event with small breakout groups\, where attendees can reflect on 
 their own experiences of belonging and consider their role in creating a m
 ore connected community. Participants will be guided to identify one meani
 ngful action they can take after the event\, an individual commitment that

 ace Day**\, Santa Cruz is doing what it does best—coming together to cel
 ebrate the many local people\, organizations\, and groups dedicated to cul
 tivating peace as the foundation for personal transformation and collectiv
 e harmony.\nWhen we operate from a place of inner peace\, every action rip
 ples outward into our neighborhoods\, our schools\, and our streets. To gu
 ide us on this journey\, we have invited speakers from some of Santa Cruz
 ’s most deeply rooted community organizations. These are the folks who w
 ork daily on the front lines of empathy\, conflict resolution\, and ethica
 l grounding. These organizations have been invited to speak and table to s
 hare all that they do!\nPeace isn’t just a concept to be discussed—it 
 is an experience to be felt\, emotions and misunderstanding to be navigate
 d. Throughout the day\, the community is invited to dive into experiential
  workshops designed to soothe the nervous system and awaken an inner clari
 ty and open heart.\nPeace is a multigenerational practice. The Children’
 s Garden will have their very own collaborative art projects\, a puppet sh
 ow\, joyful singing\, and soulful storytelling\, our youth will explore wh
 at interconnection means to them. It’s a space built for wonder\, play\,
  and cultivating kindness from an early age.\nWhat is a Santa Cruz gatheri
 ng without the arts? We are thrilled to feature live performances from inc
 redible local artists who weave messages of healing and unity into their c
