DESCRIPTION:🌿 A rare opportunity to learn from a master with more than
 five decades of Buddhist study\, practice\, and teaching.\nThis September\
, Land of Medicine Buddha is deeply honored to welcome Khen Rinpoche Lobsa
ng Wangdu for an extraordinary three-week teaching series.\nFor those unfa
miliar with Tibetan Buddhism\, teachers of Rinpoche’s generation and dep
th of training are becoming increasingly rare. He spent more than 20 years
immersed in the rigorous study of Buddhist philosophy\, debate\, and medi
tation at Sera Je Monastic University\, followed by advanced Vajrayana tra
ining at Gyume Tantric College. Today\, he serves as Abbot of Segyü Tantr
ic College.\nWhat makes this visit especially precious is the chance to en
counter these teachings directly from someone who has devoted his entire l
ife to studying\, practicing\, and preserving them within a living lineage
. You do not need to be Buddhist or an experienced practitioner to benefit
.\nAcross three weeks\, Rinpoche will guide us through some of Buddhism’
 s most essential teachings\, including Lamrim\, emptiness\, bodhicitta\, B
 uddha nature\, mind training\, and transforming anger\, culminating in a W
hite Tara Long Life Empowerment and retreat\, with the opportunity to rece
ive or renew the Bodhisattva Vows. 🙏\nWhether you are simply curious ab
out Buddhism\, looking for practical wisdom for everyday life\, or have pr
acticed for many years\, this is an exceptional opportunity to experience
these teachings at their source.\n✨ Join us for one evening\, a weekend
retreat\, or the full three-week journey.

well as integrate external tools for labeling\, vector search\, and model
inference into your dataset views.\n\n**Date\, Time and Location**\n\nSep

to transform FiftyOne from a visualization tool into a central hub for yo
ur vision stack.\n\nWhat you'll learn:\n\n* **Build Python plugins.** Defi
ne plugin manifests and directory structures to register custom functional

rite functions to execute model inference\, data cleaning\, or metadata up
dates from the App interface.\n* **Build interactive panels.** Create cust
om UI dashboards using to visualize model metrics or specialized dataset d
istributions.\n* **Manage operator execution contexts.** Pass data between
the App front end and your backend to build dynamic user workflows.\n* **
Implement delegated execution.** Configure background workers to handle lo
ng running data processing tasks without blocking the user interface.\n* *
*Build labeling integrations.** Streamline the flow of data between FiftyO
ne and annotation platforms through custom triggers and ingestion scripts.
\n* **Extend vector database support.** Program custom connectors for exte
rnal vector stores to enable semantic search across large sample datasets.
\n* **Package and share plugins.** Distribute your extensions internally a

DESCRIPTION:Taking Charge of Change: Five Fundamental Truths for Mastering
the Chaos of Life With Jim Hjort \n\nWednesday\, Oct. 21\, 2026 | Noon P
T\n\nVirtual via Zoom\n\nHosted by the UCLA Alumni Association\, open to a
ll UC alumni\n\nChange is the only constant in life\, and every day we are
called to reckon with this. Today\, it may be most apparent to you in nat
ional or global tumult\, a career pivot you’re contemplating\, or relati
onship dynamics you’re struggling to tweak or adapt to.\n\nHowever it sh
ows up\, you can count on the rug continuing to shift beneath your feet. A
nd your brain really doesn’t like that\, at least by default. In its fre
nzy to find stability today\, it will leap to ways of thinking and behavin
g that will leave you feeling even more stuck\, stifled\, and afraid tomor
row. Yet\, if you are inclined toward personal growth\, you can use the ti
dal forces of change to propel you to ever-greater wisdom\, inner stabilit
 y\, and even growth.\n\nLEARN MORE & REGISTER
