DESCRIPTION:San Luis Obispo Exploring Adventure\nBishop Peak is a favorite
spot for some fun boulder climbing and consistent great panoramic views o
f San Luis Obispo and the surrounding areas\, especially at sunset. The hi
king trail itself is relatively narrow and steep\, with some boulders\, ma
king it less mundane and more exciting to hike. The forested area in the l
ower section with boulder outcrops is very scenic. Frequently there are ot
her hikers along the trail going up and down\, and quite often I encounter
other hikers and climbers that bring meaningful conversations on top of t
he boulders.\nThe main focus is boulder climbing and exploring the boulder
fields on top of the peak. There will be some bushy traverse\, including
encountering poison oaks. Plan to enjoy a meal and watch the sun setting o
n a prominent boulder with 360 panoramic views\, and descending with headl
amp.\nTo join\, you must have effective safety acumen and adequate boulder
climbing skills\, penalty for mistakes and negligence is serious injuries
. This hike is for people that enjoy boulder climbing\, passionate about e
xploring in beautiful nature\, and committed to safety\, health & fitness.
