 Quality\, presents the 2026 SLO County Creeks to Coast Cleanup! This expan
 ded event covers not only the coastline but also inland creeks\, lakes and
  parks across the county. Since 2005\, ECOSLO has organized beach cleanups
  from San Simeon to Nipomo as part of an international effort. Last year\,
  over 7\,000 pounds of waste was removed from local waterways. \nFor more

 n\nMeet us at **Blue Moon** Over Avila **between 6:30pm - 8pm** for **Food
  & Drinks**. We'll be there **chillin** as folks trickle in. People tend t
 o show up late... It's Sunday - we get it.\n\nOfficial **beach cleanup** s
 tarts at **7:00pm sharp** (arrive before then or you'll miss the train). W
 e typically split up into groups of two or three\, then head separate ways
  and comb the beach.\n\n**What we'll do:**\n\n*snack\, drink\, chat\n- spl
 it up into groups of 2 or 3\n*elect your groups trash tracker\n- spread ou
 t and make the beach all nice and pretty\n*track what your group collects\
 , as much as reasonable\n- weight each groups bounty (prize?)\n*separate t
 rash\, recycling\, donatable items\n\n**Things you'll find / what to look 
 for**:\n\n- generic trash\, big & small\n*beach toys (unless children are 
 playing with them)\n- stray towels\, socks\, shoes\n*anything else obvious
