  three interwoven monologues\, the play chronicles the parallel decline of
  Jack and Judy’s marriage and the country’s descent into fascism\, exp
 loring themes of art\, politics\, and survival as the characters grapple w
 ith their changing world and their own values. \nA staged reading is a for
 m of theatre without sets or complete costumes and props. The actors read 
 from scripts\, sometimes using music stands. They may be seated\, stand in
