At 8:46 a.m. \, the time the first plane struck the North Tower of the World Trade Cent er\, SLOFD will conduct a ceremonial ringing of the bell\, followed by spe eches from Fire Chief Harris\, Mayor Stewart\, and Police Chief Scott and the placement of roses in honor and memory of the fallen emergency respond ers.
