Chris was very dedicated to our commu nity and loved by all. Suffering from brain cancer\, he passed away in Jun e 2015. \nChris found BYSJ and yoga on his path to better his life and ult imately face his death. He would say in his last year that he regretted no t having taken more yoga. \nIn this spirit\, we’re inspired to do more y oga to meet both the hopes and challenges of life\, so we’re offering f ree yoga all day. Although their artistic voices are distinct\ , the works are united by a sustained engagement with image-making\, mater ial exploration\, and the evolving possibilities of contemporary visual pr actice. The exhibition invites viewers to consider the many ways artists i nvestigate perception\, narrative\, abstraction\, and the expressive poten tial of pictorial form.\n\nBeyond the classroom\, these faculty members ma intain active exhibition records and professional practices that contribut e to the broader cultural landscape.
