DESCRIPTION:Join us for a 2-hour workshop brought to you by Nicole Marie\,
  author of the After Intelligence series. In this workshop\, students will
  embark on interactive sci-fi adventures as they explore how technology is
  shaping humanity. Through discussion games\, students will consider ethic
 al issues underlying our technology use and envision new inventions for th
 e future. Students will then co-create their own sci-fi choose-your-own-ad
 venture stories that provide readers with tough choices about befriending 
 androids\, moving to virtual worlds\, allowing tech companies access to th
 eir brains\, and other sci-fi conundrums that are rapidly colliding with r
 eality. \nThis workshop will take place in the writing lab at 826 Valencia
  St.  \nThis a one-day workshop: Sunday\, October 18th\, 12pm-2pm. \nTo e
 xpress interest in this workshop fill out this form. \nAfter registering\,
  staff will reach out to offer a spot depending on eligibility and availab
 ility in the program. Our workshops are open to anyone\, but we do give pr
 iority to SFUSD students with socio-economic need and hold spaces for stud
 ents enrolled in our other programs.
