 plomat Trevor Houser will provide an overview of the current state of glob
 al efforts to address climate change and constructive steps individuals an
 d communities can take to advance those efforts. He will also reflect on h
 ow faith can provide both a refuge from environmental anxiety and a guide 
 to personal engagement.\n\nJoin us for this important afternoon of convers
 ation with lecture at 1 pm and wine and cheese reception to follow.  Free
  and Open to the Public.\n\nTrevor Houser is a partner at Rhodium Group\,
  an independent research provider. He leads the company’s Energy & Clima
 te practice\, which analyzes the effects of policy and market developments
  on greenhouse gas emissions and energy systems. Trevor also co-directs th
 e Climate Impact Lab\, a consortium of leading research institutions quant
 ifying the impact of climate change on communities around the world.\n\nTr
 evor previously served as a climate change negotiator for the U.S. Departm
 ent of State and as a Visiting Fellow at the Peterson Institution for Inte
 rnational Economics. He has written three books on energy policy and globa
 l climate change\, including The Economic Risks of Climate Change: An Amer
 ican Perspective.
