ican studio craft in today’s material culture. Grace Londono\, Head of A
rtist Relations\, will then lead a walkthrough revealing the techniques\,
materials\, and lore behind the works on view. Join us at 1 PM on Saturday
\, September 12\, to take in incredible works\, from jewelry to furniture
 – from icons of American craft to the cutting edge of design today. \nBo
ok your spot today\; space is limited. \nTICKETS: General Admission $10\,

ft. This expansive survey across generations invites us to reflect on what
we make\, what we value\, and how both have shifted over time. \nOrganize
d by the Smithsonian\, the original 1969 OBJECTS: USA established the Amer
ican studio craft movement as a new force in the global cultural conversat
ion. More than fifty years later\, OBJECTS: USA feels freshly charged. Thi
s new iteration at MCD traces that lasting impact on some of the leading m
akers working in the U.S. today. \nAbout Evan Snyderman\nEvan Snyderman is
the co-founder and creative director of R & Company\, the dynamic New Yor
k design gallery devoted to nurturing and sustaining the careers of both e
merging and established designers. His nearly three decades of work have b
een instrumental in reintroducing major historical designers to audiences
and championing the new generation of designers. R & Company continues to
serve as a critical platform for experiencing twentieth and twenty-first-c
entury objects and for discovering innovative\, rare\, and significant des
 ign. \nAbove image: Joyce Lin\, Skinned Chair II\, 2022\, Found chair\, ep
