  century limp vellum binding where the cover was formed into a wallet\, Cl
 ara Gevaert slowly began to develop her Envelope Binding structure. This s
 imple\, yet rather elegant structure requires very little adhesive and eac
 h cover is folded out of a single sheet of handmade paper. The book opens 
 relatively flat and is suitable for lightweight text blocks. \n\n\n\nStude
 nts should purchase 4 sheets of paper from the Morgan Conservatory. These 
 sheets will be used for the covers\, so Erin suggests purchasing 4 of the

 us beginners are welcome! \n\n\n\nClass Description:Flexagons are two and 
 three-dimensional paper folded/cut/glued constructions that fold or ‘fle
 x’ toreveal hidden surfaces. This gives them a narrative structure\, ide
 al for presenting a sequence ofimages\, texts\, patterns\, stories…anyth
 ing you choose. They are highly entertaining\, baffling toencounter\, full
  of creative potential and simple to make! \n\n\n\nOver the 5 workshops\, 
 you will learn 15-20 different flexagons with a diversity of forms and fle
 xingactions. All the constructions will be made with paper or card and bas
 ic papercraft equipment (ruler\, knife\, glue\, etc). Nervous beginners ar
 e welcome. Paul has taught flexagons many times to students of Design and 
 to a variety of adult makers’ groups. \n\n\n\nPaul’s journey with flex
 agons began as a student\, and includes work with the British Origami Soci
