 tories of Mexican American trailblazers from the battlefield to the halls 
 of justice\, from classrooms to boardrooms\, the exhibit shows how Mexican
  Americans have put democracy into action. Opening in July 2026 as part of
  the America250 commemoration\, Somos Americanos affirms that Mexican Amer
 ican history is American history. Opening July 2026! \n  \nThe exhibit wi

DESCRIPTION:The Michael and Noémi Neidorff Art Gallery presents Robert Zi
 ebell: Locations. Robert Ziebell’s photographic images of the vernacular
  architecture and natural wonders of the Keweenaw in Michigan’s Upper Pe
 ninsula\, where he has resided part time for over thirty years. The term 
 “locations” refers to worker housing originally built by mining compan
 ies\, which have been transformed over the years with an idiosyncratic arr
 ay of styles and materials. Small photographs on canvas of these structure
 s are interspersed with large-scale prints of the rugged landscapes of Lak
 e Superior which surround the former mining towns.\n\nExhibition Dates: Au
 gust 27 – October 8\, 2026\nClosing Reception: 5-7 p.m. October 8\, 2026
