DESCRIPTION:Course Overview\n\nThe 2017 periodontal classification system
transformed how we diagnose and manage periodontal disease. Yet many denta
l teams still struggle with putting it into daily practice. A survey publi
shed by the American Dental Hygienists’ Association reported that nearly
50% of participants believed attending a CE course on the 2017 classifica
tion would be extremely valuable in helping them implement the system\, de
velop evidence-based treatment plans\, and communicate more effectively wi
th patients and other providers.\n\nThis course makes the 2017 periodontal
classification system simple\, practical\, and profitable\, giving you th
e confidence to apply it chairside while improving patient care\, insuranc
 e documentation\, and practice production.\n\nObjectives\n\nStaging & Grad
ing Made Easy: Understand the system in a way that’s fast and clinically
useful.General practice vs. interdisciplinary: Clear guidelines on which
patients to manage in general practice and which to manage in collaboratio
n with a specialist.Insurance & Coding Compliance: Apply classification to
  support SRP\, maintenance\, and gingivitis codes (reduce denials!)Boost H
ygiene Production: Ensure patients receive the right treatment\, not “ju
st another prophy”.Team Calibration: Get dentists and hygienists speakin
g the same diagnostic language.Patient Communication Tools: Develop a read
y-to-use script to explain periodontal disease in patient-friendly languag
 e.

DESCRIPTION:The Board Walks – San Antonio\n[The Board Walks](http://www.
theboardwalks.com/) are for curious people who love deep conversations.\nI
f that sounds like you\, **bring a thoughtful topic** and join us for a 5-
 mile walk (10\,000+ steps!).\n\n**HOW IT WORKS**\n\n**Step 1: Bring a topi
c**\nBefore you arrive\, think of **one** topic you want to explore. A que
stion. A thought that's been on your mind. An obsession you want to geek o
ut on. This is your ticket to the event.\n**Step 2: Circle up & share**\nW
e gather in a circle. Your friendly walk host gives a speech to set the to
ne. Everyone shares: your name\, what you're grateful for\, and your topic
 . That's it. 60 seconds.\n**Step 3: Walk\, talk & float**\nWe walk 5 miles
. You naturally drift into conversation with 2-3 people at a time\, pulled
by topics that spark your curiosity. When you're ready to move on\, just
 say: "I'm going to float!"\n**Step 4: Feel more alive**\nTwo hours flies b
 y. You're back where you started — but you feel different. More alive. M
ore energized. More connected to yourself and others. That's why regulars
 join 20+ times.\n*For more details\, read our [Orientation Guide.](https:/
 /www.theboardwalks.com/orientation)*\n\n**HOW TO BRING A GREAT TOPIC**\n\n
 A great topic = something you're genuinely curious about.\nRecent topics i
nclude:\n\n* "What are you passionate about right now?"\n* "What makes a g
ood friend?"\n* "What's a belief you used to hold that you've completely c
hanged?"\n* "How do you want to be remembered?"\n* "What would you do if m
oney wasn't a factor?"\n\nThink of your topic like the dish you're bringin
g to our conversational potluck. If everyone brings an A+ dish (i.e. energ
 izing\, uplifting\, expansive)\, we'll all walk away feeling lighter and b
 righter.\n\n**WHAT TO EXPECT**\n\nThis isn't a fitness event with casual c
hitchat. It's a walking think tank where we explore life's big questions t
ogether\, beyond small talk. *If you're looking for light banter or a stan
dard networking event\, this probably isn't the right fit.*\nBut if you cr
ave depth\, genuine connection\, and conversations that make you feel aliv
e? You'll love it here.\n\n**FAQ**\n\n* Wear casual athletic attire and sn
eakers. It's a long walk!\n* We have multiple first-timers at each event.
 We work hard to create a welcoming\, inclusive\, clique-free space.\n* We
welcome people of **all** ages\, backgrounds\, and industries who align wi
th the [intention](https://www.theboardwalks.com/ground-rules) of this spa
ce.\n* Rain or shine\, we've been out here nearly every week since July 20
 22. If the event is cancelled\, we'll let you know.\n* Dogs\, babies in st
rollers\, parents\, and friends are welcome — please text/email them the
event link so they can RSVP and prepare a topic!\n\n**LOGISTICS**\n\n* If
you'll arrive over 10 minutes late\, we suggest skipping the event. It's
hard to find us once we start walking\, and your host can't answer message
s during the event.\n* This walk is designed for everyone to *move togethe
r at the same steady pace* (about 20 min/mile). This format works best whe
n the whole group moves in unison. If you have mobility limitations\, we k
indly encourage you to find an event better suited to your needs.\n* Read
 our [Orientation Guide](https://www.theboardwalks.com/orientation) for ful
 l details.\n* If you enjoy the event\, send **[this](http://www.theboardwa
lks.com/)** to a friend or sign up for our **[newsletter](https://theboard
walks.beehiiv.com/)**. We're in multiple cities with more on the way. 🤠
 👋\n\n**IF YOU WANT TO GO DEEPER...**\n[The Board](https://stan.store/el
lebeecher/p/the-board) is the next step: a high-trust collective for renai
ssance people devoted to creating\, connecting\, and building lives that l
ight us up.\n\n* This is a global HQ for people who crave big talk\, deep
connection\, and dream collaborations with people across industries. If th
e walks feel like a spark... The Board is the fire. Apply [here](https://s

DESCRIPTION:Hemisfair Wins Two World Urban Parks Awards\, Recognizing Ci

al awards from World Urban Parks (WUP)\, honoring Civic Park for the Lar
ge Urban Parks Award and Hemisfair Park Area Redevelopment Corporation
’s Operations Manager Jane Linde for the Young Park Leader Award.  The
WUP Awards highlight parks\, leaders\, projects\, and organizations adva
ncing the quality\, equity\, and management of urban parks and open spac
es worldwide. Hemisfair won two of the four awards out of all North Ameri
can entries\, joining17 other winners from around the world who won in the
ir respective regions.  “We are grateful that World Urban Parks recogni
zes how Civic Park is a world-class example of how a large urban park can
have a positive impact on the community\, improve the environment\, and se
t the standard for excellence in park management\,” said Hemisfair Par
k Area Redevelopment Corporation’s (HPARC) Chief Executive Officer Melis
sa Robinson. The park features an expansive lawn for events\, a tree-line
d promenade\, native and adaptive landscaping\, accessible water and desig
n features\, and spaces for recreation and quiet reflection. Designed with
sustainability and resilience in mind\, Civic Park includes a 42\,000-gal
lon underground cistern that captures and reuses nuisance water for irriga
 tion\, along with water-efficient landscaping.  “Civic Park’s high-qu
ality design is a reflection of the entire project team\, from us at HPARC
and the Hemisfair Conservancy to more than a dozen AEC firms and the City
of San Antonio all coming together to create a park that enriches San Ant
onians’ daily life as well as welcomes visitors to the area with its uni
que features and spaces\,” said Robinson. “As we continue to build one
of the world’s great public places\, this award demonstrates what makes
our urban parks district a world-class destination.”  Linde has spent
the past decade working at HPARC and continues to play a pivotal role in c
reating a welcoming\, inclusive\, and vibrant urban park district at Hemis
fair. Young Park Leader Award recipients recognize emerging professionals
under the age of 35 who exhibit leadership\, innovation\, and community im
pact. After graduating from Trinity University with an Urban Studies degre
e\, she advanced from a seasonal Games Assistant to Operations roles\, ove
 rseeing Hemisfair’s daily operations\, maintenance\, safety\, and visito
r experience across the district’s three parks.  “I am honored to be
recognized for work that often goes unnoticed\, whether helping butterfly
gardens thrive\, coordinating volunteers\, or writing play equipment propo
sals and more\,” said Linde. “Working at Hemisfair for over 10 years
has integrated me into the fabric of this community. Although operations
is not glamorous\, caring for such a special place in the city and the
world is deeply meaningful to me as urban parks are essential for well-bei
ng and community connection.”  The 2026 WUP Awards Program winners were
selected by regional juries representing North America\, Latin America\,
Europe\, and Africa. The honorees will be recognized during the WUP Sympos

for open playalong rehearsals where anyone is welcome to jump in\, even if
you haven’t had time to practice. These sessions are a low-pressure way

material and can comfortably hold your parts\, there may be opportunities

sessions are:**\n\n1. A chance to play with a working local band that’s
actively building its gig calendar.\n2. A chance to try a wide variety of
tunes\, from pop to rock and beyond.\n3. A chance to be invited to paid or

DESCRIPTION:San Antonio Gamers\nLong before mortals\, before even Good and
Evil took shape\, the universe was **Law vs. Chaos** or existence vs. . T
he greatest champion of Law was **Asmodeus**\, an angel who never broke th
e rules—only learned how to use them better than the gods themselves.\n\
nHe proved something terrifying:\n\n**Law without consequence is meaningle
ss.**\n\nThe gods agreed. They signed the **Pact Primeval**\, creating Hel
l\, punishment\, and the system that governs every soul.\n\nAnd then\, lat
 er… they tried something else.\n\nThey staged a final contest—**champi
ons of Good and Evil\, armed with artifacts of ultimate power**. But Evil
cheated. Five relics were forged instead of three.\n\nEvil was about to wi
n.\n\nThat’s when **Zaphkiel**\, judge of the heavens\, made the choice
he was never meant to make. He abandoned Law\, manifested in the battle\,
and **erased Evil outright**—shattering Asmodeus’s Ruby Rod into **66
fragments** scattered across the world and beyond.\n\nThen the truth was b
uried.\n\nThe world was sealed inside a divine barrier. The Outer Planes f
aded into myth. The gods turned away. And “Good” became something enfo
 rced\, unquestioned\, and absolute.\n\n***\n\nYou are not heroes.\n\nYou a
re the ones who see the cracks.\n\nYou will play **villains** in a control
 led\, sanctified world—figures who scheme\, manipulate\, conquer\, and s
urvive under a system that calls itself perfect.\n\nYou may:\n\n* Hunt the
**shattered fragments of the Ruby Rod**\n* Seek the lost **artifacts of E
 vil’s champions**\n* Build power: cults\, guilds\, armies\, conspiracies
\n* Tear down institutions—or quietly corrupt them from within\n\nOr ign
ore all of that and carve your own path.\n\nThis is a **player-driven\, sa
ndbox campaign** after the early levels.\nThe world reacts to you. Your ac
 tions create consequences\, enemies\, and opportunities.\n\n***\n\n**Your
Contract with the Table**\n\nThis is **evil with intent**\, not chaos for
its own sake.\n\n* **No PvP / no party sabotage**\n* **Cooperative villain
 s** (selfish is fine—disloyal is not)\n* **Plans\, schemes\, long-term g
oals**\n* **Consequences matter**\n\n**You are not a fit here if you want:
**\n\n* Random violence or “lol I burn it because I’m evil”\n* Disru
ptive play or spotlight stealing\n* Betraying the party “because charact
er”\n\n**You are a great fit here if you enjoy:**\n\n* Dark epic storyte
 lling\n* Power-building and manipulation\n* Strategic\, thinking villains\
 n* A world that pushes back\n\n***\n\n**Campaign Style**\n\n* D&D 3.5e\n*
 Dark epic tone (artifacts\, war\, legacy-level consequences)\n* Player-dri

An ekphrastic poem is written in response to an artwork. These poems take
an existing piece of visual art\, and uses written words to describe and e
xpand on the theme of that work of art. The poem should not simply describ
e the artwork\; it should express how the art enlightens\, puzzles\, moves
\, inspires you\, etc.  Many of these poems explore hidden meanings or an
  underlying story.

00-nothing-to-see-here\n\nLillian and Madison were unlikely roommates and
yet inseparable friends at their elite boarding school. But then Lillian h
ad to leave the school unexpectedly in the wake of a scandal and they’ve
barely spoken since. Until now\, when Lillian gets a letter from Madison
pleading for her help.\n\nMadison’s twin stepkids are moving in with her
family and she wants Lillian to be their caretaker. However\, there’s a
catch: the twins spontaneously combust when they get agitated\, flames ig
niting from their skin in a startling but beautiful way. Lillian is convin
ced Madison is pulling her leg\, but it’s the truth.\n\nThinking of her
dead-end life at home\, the life that has consistently disappointed her\,
Lillian figures she has nothing to lose. Over the course of one humid\, de
manding summer\, Lillian and the twins learn to trust each other—and sta

urgently and fiercely. Couldn’t this be the start of the amazing life sh
