DESCRIPTION:Course Overview\n\nThe 2017 periodontal classification system
transformed how we diagnose and manage periodontal disease. Yet many denta
l teams still struggle with putting it into daily practice. A survey publi
shed by the American Dental Hygienists’ Association reported that nearly
50% of participants believed attending a CE course on the 2017 classifica
tion would be extremely valuable in helping them implement the system\, de
velop evidence-based treatment plans\, and communicate more effectively wi
th patients and other providers.\n\nThis course makes the 2017 periodontal
classification system simple\, practical\, and profitable\, giving you th
e confidence to apply it chairside while improving patient care\, insuranc
 e documentation\, and practice production.\n\nObjectives\n\nStaging & Grad
ing Made Easy: Understand the system in a way that’s fast and clinically
useful.General practice vs. interdisciplinary: Clear guidelines on which
patients to manage in general practice and which to manage in collaboratio
n with a specialist.Insurance & Coding Compliance: Apply classification to
  support SRP\, maintenance\, and gingivitis codes (reduce denials!)Boost H
ygiene Production: Ensure patients receive the right treatment\, not “ju
st another prophy”.Team Calibration: Get dentists and hygienists speakin
g the same diagnostic language.Patient Communication Tools: Develop a read
y-to-use script to explain periodontal disease in patient-friendly languag
 e.

n\nProgram Curriculum\n\nIntegrating Digital Dentistry and AI Applications
  into Daily Clinical Practice\n\nDr. Carlos Escobar\, DDS\n\nOverview\nDig
ital dentistry and artificial intelligence are reshaping the way clinician
s diagnose\, treatment plan\, communicate with patients\, and deliver care
. This presentation will explore practical applications of intraoral scann
 ing\, digital smile design\, CAD/CAM technologies\, 3D printing\, and AI-a
ssisted treatment planning tools that can be incorporated into everyday cl
inical workflows. Special emphasis will be placed on digital smile design
platforms\, such as SmileCloud\, which leverage facial references and clin
ician-specific design preferences to create personalized esthetic outcomes
. Through clinical cases and real-world examples\, attendees will gain ins
ight into how digital technologies can improve efficiency\, accuracy\, pat
ient engagement\, and treatment outcomes. Participants will leave with pra
ctical strategies for implementing digital workflows and AI-powered soluti
ons in both private practice and academic environments.\n\nLearning Object
ives\n\nDescribe the role of intraoral scanning\, digital smile design\, C
AD/CAM\, and 3D printing in contemporary digital dental workflows.Explain
how artificial intelligence can enhance diagnosis\, treatment planning\, p
atient communication\, and esthetic smile design.Apply practical strategie
s for integrating digital dentistry and AI technologies into daily clinica

 . Michaell A. Huber\, DDS\, FICD\n\nOverview\nDental patients frequently s
eek evaluation for a sore or lesion in their mouth. Fortunately\, most of
these lesions will be inconsequential or benign\; however\, some may be se
rious or represent an underlying systemic disorder. The purpose of this co
urse is to review some of the oral conditions and lesions the dental pract
itioner may encounter in practice. Using a case-based interactive format\,
the clinical clues and patterns of presentation\, the relevant laboratory
tests necessary to diagnose\, and the basic therapeutic strategies used t
o manage these most common oral lesions will be presented.\n\nLearning Obj
ectives\nAt the end of the course\, the participant should be able to desc
ribe/discuss the diagnosis and management of:\n\nCommon benign exophytic l
esionsCommon oral ulcerationsCommon dermatologic disordersCommon autoimmun
e disordersCommon infectious conditionsOral potentially malignant disorder
sMalignancy and oral cancer\n\n \n\nProfitable Practice Pearls in Dentist
 ry\n\nDr. David M. Bonner\, DDS\, MBA\, MAGD\, FICD\, FACD\, FICOI\n\nOver
view\nDental practices can improve their patients’ oral health with “p
earls” that are often neglected. Dental Pearls help dentists become “D
ecathlon Dentists.” The good news for dentists is many of these pearls a
re often “low hanging fruit” that can immediately add more than six fi
gures of profitability annually when combined with excellent communication
.\n\nDr. David Bonner is a practicing dentist with the gift of sorting thr
ough the vast array of new materials and techniques to help dentists simpl
ify the complexities of providing excellent restorative and surgical denti
