 .D. of Psychology in collaboration with SPARC\, is set to begin this fall\
 , starting next Monday\, August 24.\n\nLike last year\, MWC is an opportun
 ity for faculty and staff to advance their scholarship in conversation wit
 h other scholars across campus\, and to receive funding support from SPARC
  for consistent participation and publications. We’ve had participants a
 cross schools over the last few years and are looking forward to our time 
 this year.\n\nIn addition to monthly meetings on Mondays\, where we discus
 s our projects and select topics in manuscript development and publishing\
 , we’re continuing our second monthly meeting on Thursday mornings\, dev

 rk?**\nSAWG’s Spec-Fic critique meetings are small-group focused with a 
 rolling submission order (where everyone takes turns reading their materia
 l week-to-week). Two pieces are read every week\, and there will be a tabl
 e read\, verbal critique\, and a round-table discussion section. Submissio
 ns are handed out a week in advance to give members plenty of opportunity 
 to preview the text and make line annotations and/or write critique letter
 s if they so desire.\n\nWe meet every Monday from 7-9 pm and are open only
