 k to School Event \n \n \n \n
The Urban Indian Center of Salt Lake (UICSL) once again demonstrated its
deep commitment to the community with its highly successful 2025 Back to
School event. By providing free backpacks stuffed with essential school s
upplies\, UICSL ensured students within our community are prepared for aca
 demic success. \n \n \n \n
This event is a cornerstone of UICSL’s holistic community services.
While students picked out their new supplies\, families also enjoyed free
food and a festive atmosphere. More importantly\, attendees were connecte
d with vital resources and information on the center’s year-round medica
l\, behavioral health\, and cultural programs. The positive outcome unders
cores UICSL’s role in fostering the health\, wellness\, and educational
achievement of Salt Lake’s urban Native community.
