  StART with a Story activities. \nAbout Special Guest Reader Jazmín Dreas
 \nJazmín is a mother of two who loves reading stories and sharing her cul
 ture with everyone she meets. Born and raised on the beautiful island of t
 he Dominican Republic\, Jazmín came to Rochester through a scholarship pr
 ogram at the Rochester Institute of Technology. After putting her engineer
 ing career on hold to focus on raising her children\, she began to frequen
 t many local libraries and noticed a need\; there was a lack of consistent
  Spanish story time programs for families in the community. Inspired to he
 lp fill that gap\, she began leading Spanish story time at local libraries
  each month. Jazmín loves singing\, playing the ukulele\, and reading ent
 husiastically to children of all ages. \nDescripción del Evento en Españ

 comenzó a frecuentar muchas bibliotecas locales y notó una necesidad: ex
 istía una falta de programas regulares de horas de cuentos en español pa
 ra las familias de la comunidad. Inspirada por el deseo de ayudar a cubrir
  esa carencia\, comenzó a dirigir sesiones mensuales de horas de cuentos 
 en español en las bibliotecas locales. A Jazmín le encanta cantar\, toca
 r el ukelele y leer con entusiasmo a niños de todas las edades. \n\nFor q
