DESCRIPTION:CHANGE IN MEET UP SPOT FOR SATURDAY MORNING OPEN WATER RIVER S
 WIMS. I originally set the meet up spot at the public parking lot on Bradl
 ey Blvd so that after the swim folks could walk back up and get a warm wat
 er shower to rinse off the river scum and toxic algae from their wetsuits 
 and themselves. since almost no one is interested in this\, THE NEW MEET U
 P SPOT IS THE PARKING LOT AT COLUMBIA POINT MARINA PARK (WHERE THE SWIM EN
 DS). MEET AND CAR POOL UP TO THE SWIM START\, LEAVING AT 8:00 AM. \nOPEN W
 ATER RIVER SWIMS! To help you get ready for our local triathlons\, includi
 ng the 70.3 in September\, we will have open water river swims on most Sat
 urday mornings starting June 20 at 8:00 am. No river swims when there is a
 n event that day.  Go to the Calendar at www.3RRR.org to see the list of 
 Saturday swim days. \nMeet at the public parking lot just upstream (north)
  of 178 Bradly Blvd in Richland (Marina Vista Estates townhouse complex) a
 nd we will carpool up to the start at Howard Amon Park.  After we swim ba
 ck down\, you can use the warm water hose in Eric’s driveway to warm up 
 and get the river muck off you and your wetsuit! \nSome important notes ab
 out these swims.  There is NO LIFEGUARD for these swims.  If you show 
 up to swim it means that you are capable of doing the swim without help fr
 om others.  We may have an escort kayak/paddle board every now and then\,
  but don’t count on that.  Secondly\, especially since we won’t alway
 s have an escort kayak\, you must swim with a swim safety buoy to provid
 e extra visibility to the boaters on the river.  A brightly colored pool 
 toy tethered to your ankle works\, but the SaferSwimmer buoy (or other bra
 nds) usually have a dry bag within the buoy that is mighty handy for stori
 ng flops\, keys\, and whatever during your swim. \nForward any questions t
