His work strengthens academic en gagement and fosters innovation within the NC State community. \nBefore jo ining NC State\, Kroon served as Reference and Instruction Librarian at Ca mpbell University. He also worked as Digital Outreach and Instruction Libr arian at the University of Pikeville\, where he advanced digital resource access and promoted information literacy across campus. Earlier\, he held positions at the University of Akron and Baldwin Wallace University\, mana ging library services and leading student staff. \nKroon built his foundat ion in academic support at Kent State University. While completing his gra duate studies\, he worked as a Writing Tutor\, a Graduate Assistant in the Fashion and Architecture Libraries\, and a Student Worker in the Map Libr ary.
