 re looking for volunteers to grow a group of plant pals at Hazeltine Park!
  \nIf you are seeking a consistent gardening focused volunteer event and l
 ove helping people connect to the nature in their neighborhood and want to
  help us share the word\, please reach out to East Developed Parks Coordin
 ator\, Kimberléa Ruffu. \nJoin PP&R for volunteer events at Hazeltine Par
 k to help with invasive plant removal\, weeding\, pruning\, mulching\, and
  other gardening activities. \nThis is a great opportunity to learn more a
 bout gardening and native plants\, and to connect with your community. Pla
 nt care activities may vary monthly. \nOpen to all ages\, paces\, and skil
 ls. No experience is required to participate. \nYouth under the age of 18 
 are welcome to attend with a parent or responsible adult. \nPlease registe

 is some shade at the park. There are no paved pathways in the park. Volunt
 eers should plan to navigate across mostly flat grassy areas or soft surfa
 ce (bark chip) pathways. \nThere will be a portable restroom onsite. \nIf
