DESCRIPTION:Endorphin Drip Hiking Club\n**WHEN**: Every Tuesday\, All Year
(minus select Holidays)\n**TIME**: 7-9:30pm\n**WHERE**: 7805 SE Oaks Park
  Way\, Portland\, OR 97202\n**DIFFICULTY**: All Levels\n**ADMISSION**: $13
  - Skate Rental include - Personal Skates welcome\, subject to inspection.
\n**18+ Only**\n**ATTIRE:** From athletic wear to bell bottoms! Anything g
oes! Show off your unique style!\n**Note:** All hats require a hat-clip\,
purchasable at venue.\n\nHey everyone!\n\nIt’s a new year and I’m exci
ted to get to Sellwood’s very popular Oaks Park that hosts a weekly ’A
dult Skate Night!’\n\nI have been going weekly for a little while now\,
and each time I leave with a feeling of contentment and lightness\, not to
mention the sweat gleaming off me\, (it’s more of a workout than you’
d expect!). Let’s switch out or hiking shoes for some roller skates! Com
e with me to\n\nWe’ll be coasting smoothly across the largest and oldest
running Roller Skating Rink in N. America alongside some groovy tunes. Ad
ult Skate features a live DJ playing retro and current hits. The 1st/3rd/5
th weeks our guest DJ is DJ Glyde. 2nd/4th Tuesdays feature DJ Groove. *Re
quests welcome and encouraged!*\n\n*Outside food/beverages are prohibited.
 * That being said\, I bring my water bottle every time and never get told
its not allowed. The rink cafe will be operational during Adult Skate\; vi
ew [menu](https://www.oakspark.com/concessions).\n\nFor more rules and exp
 ectations\, visit their [site.](https://www.oakspark.com/specialty-session
 -ticketing-policies#adultskate)\n\nIf you plan on attending regularly\, I
highly recommend purchasing their “punch card.” It is approx. $110 for
ten sessions. It’s basically one free session\, but worth it if you’r
e here frequently. These are available for purchase at the door\, just ask
.\n\n**This event is held weekly\, with or without EDHC attendance. While
I intend to be present for the majority of these events\, I cannot promise
that I will be available to make it every time. I will have these posted
on our events calendar weekly and encourage everyone to attend regardless
of my presence.**\n**When I do attend I will be waiting inside near the en
trance at the above start time and wait there for 10-15min to be able to g
reet people as they come (IF anyone’s has signed up). After that time yo
u’ll just have to find me or other group members on your own (either goi
ng in circles on the floor or hanging in the AC’d cafe).**\n\n***All vis
itors participating in roller skating must complete a waiver.*** *Do this
online and ahead of time so you don’t have to bother with it there. It j
ust goes faster if you do this ahead of time.* **Spectators are welcome at
no charge.**\n\n**Difficulty**: This is a beginner friendly event since p
articipants will be allowed to participate/engage as much as they wish\, i
f at all. Roller skating and inline skating is a very sneaky way to get a
pretty good work out!\n\n**Carpooling/Driving**: I will not be setting up
a formal carpool for this hike because this is an in town event that is ea
sily accessible via mass transit.\n\n**Parking/Fees**: A parking fee of $4
applies during Adult Skate. The parking fee is payable onsite via self-se
rvice parking meters or on your mobile device at [t2p.mobi/oaks1905](https
://t2p.mobi/oaks1905). Only credit/debit cards are accepted at the parking
meters\; please visit the Skate Shop to pay with cash. Parking spaces are
first-come\, first-served and the lot frequently fills to capacity\; do n
ot purchase your parking online until you have a parking space onsite. The
re are no refunds.\nIf you attend more than 4X in a month\, it may be most
cost effective to purchase a subscription to unlimited parking. This is a
pprox. $33 billed every three months\, I do this and it keeps things prett
y simple and worry free.\n*There IS free limited parking at Sellwood River
Front Park if you don’t mind the .3mi distance walk to the roller rink.
  I do this periodically.*\n\n**Be Prepared**\n• A positive attitude\, se
nse of wonder and wish to be a part of a greater community of truly amazin
