DESCRIPTION:This class is designed to demystify the editing process with a
 pplicable tools for editing at each stage of your draft. From fiction to c
 reative nonfiction\, this workshop offers in-depth looks at different edit
 orial tools to use to help you refine your story and your language. In thi
 s four-week workshop\, we’ll review practical\, applicable revision tool
 s for each stage of the revision process. Then\, we’ll practice some of 
 those editing tools on your work in class. Homework includes expanded edit
 ing exercises\, which we’ll discuss the following week. \nPlease bring:\
 n● A notebook and at least 3 different colored writing utensils\n● For
  day 1: a printed first page of something you’re working on\nEach writer
  will be sent home with an editing checklist and editing goals for the com
 ing weeks.\nAccess Program\nWe want our writing classes and seminars to be
  accessible to everyone\, regardless of income and background. We understa
 nd that our tuition structure can present obstacles for some people. Our A
 ccess Program offers writing class and seminar tuitions at a reduced rate.

 tential\, the first module in a rare continuous fourteen-part program that
  carries students the entire way through the Buddhist path to enlightenmen
 t\, taught by the skillful and experienced Venerable Lozang Yönten. \nThe
  opening session examines the mind itself: how it constructs the experienc
 es we call happiness and suffering\, and how destructive thoughts and atti
 tudes can be recognized\, understood\, and transformed into a mind that is
  genuinely positive and at ease. It is the foundation on which all fourtee
 n modules of Discovering Buddhism are built. \nEach session of this course
  will be delivered to support real engagement and application\, giving stu
 dents the chance to work directly with the teachings rather than to simply
  hear them. Guidance will be offered on the mechanisms behind meditation i
 tself\, so that students can use this understanding to deepen their practi
 ce and maintain stability and consistency in daily life. \nThe course is o
 pen to beginners and taught with enough depth to enrich senior students as
