DESCRIPTION:Lovers of inflatable kayaks on flat water\nFancy picnic has be
en our premiere event for many years. The idea is simple:\nWe paddle out t
o an island and have a **potluck picnic where we use proper plates\, silve
rware\, bring our dishes we are most proud of and ideally dress up** too.\
nWe are supplying the plates and the silverware. Just bring a dish to shar
e.\n\nMeeting up at Cedaroak boat ramp at 5pm\, hopefully getting on the w
ater by 5:30pm. Going to our standard place on Hog island (hopefully)\nThe
re we shall swim\, mingle\, potluck\, celebrate and maybe even dance.\n\nT
his year we are adding a fun whimsical piece - paddling back in the dark.
Bring lights. If you want to paddle back before it's dark you can.\n\nThin
 gs to pack:\n\n\\- Watercraft\, all related and PFD\n\\- A \\(ideally\\) h
ome made dish you are proud of\, ideally with a resealable container and a
serving spoon\n\\- Lights for your boat for return trip\n\\- Wear a bathi
ng suit\n\\- Picnic blanket\n\nI have a couple of spots in my kayaks avail
able. Let me know if you are interested.\n\nContact Jack with any question
s or gear requests.\n\n**Please support our group:** Consider helping us r
un the group by making a small ($10) donation\, more if you are using our
equipment. All collected funds will be used for the annual Meetup fee and
for purchases of loaner equipment. To donate\, please give cash to the eve
nt host\, or send it via Venmo to @JackBaikov (if it asks for last 4 digit
s of phone number\, they are 7191). Thank you!\n\n**Reminder:** Meetup org
anizers are unpaid volunteers and claim no special expertise or knowledge.
We will paddle as a group but ultimately you are responsible for your own
  experience\, safety and decision-making.
